I have the same problem with my Qtek 8310 device and my network operator is Rogers (Canada). Hope someone can help us on this one.

Im unable to connect to mts server to create an account. Im trying the latest version 1.25. Pinging ip address gives request timeout Also, my network operator is not listed but i think it will be added automaticly when i will create an account, right? Im using a qtek 8310. Cell ID look fines.

You are right! Disabling the OneCare 1.5 Beta firewall and then connecting my device, worked! Im hoping tis problem will get fix soon.

I had the opportunity to test Windows Vista RTM but wasn't able to connect my Qtek 8310 to the new "activeSync" (WMDC). it just doesn't detect it. I also try WMDC beta 3 available on microsoft website, but no luck either.

Anyone's having to the same problem ?

Parallax20! First of all, you did a great work with PocketNester and im very happy about it.

Just one thing about the keys configuration. With my Qtek 8310, im unable to use the VolumeUp and VolumeDown Button as for A and B Button when playing in Landscape (even portrait). With PocketSNES i am able to use them but somehow, it doesn't work with PocketNester. Could you take a look at it ?

EDIT: Just found out that its the same thing with PicoDrive.

i am able to charge my qtek 8310 without activesync.

im unable to connect to GPRS and also to use Dialup to connect to internet. Im using Fido Network.

GPRS settings:

Connect to: Internet
Name: Fido
APN: internet.fido.ca
User: fido
Pass: fido
left everything else blank.

then when i use IE, i saw the little G that appear beside the signal bar and then IE gives me an error message saying: Cannot connect. Verify you have network coverage and try again.

Hope someone on fido's network can help me.

I have the same thing with Fido network. I have the same roaming icon with a little 'G' beside it. Were you able to connect using GPRS and Dialup ? i am not.

I am trying to access internet from my Qtek 8310 smartphone.
Now i want to access internet from a dialup connection.
So as per User Manual, i go into:
start > settings > connection > dialup.
then add a account, set it to connect to internet, enter the phone #, username & password and left domain blank.
Once done i go to back to connection, press menu and go in advanced. i then set the internet connection to my newly added account.

Then i go to internet explorer, set connection to Internet then i and click on a default favorite. i notice that the signal bar change, it now has two arrow --> <-- one over the other (which is normal as its the data connection icon). But then the signal bar goes back to normal and IE says Error unable to place a call.

Im i doing something wrong ? Is my Service Operator not allowing me to use my cellphone to connect to internet using a dialup connection ? Did anyone was able to connect using a dialup connection ?
