Hello everybody,

I have a problem with the joystick on my C550 (It's not working in any direction but it is selecting) but it’s out of warranty. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement keypad board?

I've been on the HTC Europe site and it estimated 40+ quid!

I've also looked on EBAY for damaged phone for the part but they're also selling in the region of 40-50 quid.

I know it says SONY ERICSSON but it looks the same as the one in the C550 does anyone know if it is? How difficult would it be to fit if it is the right one?

Any help and info would be hugely appreciated.

Ok I wanted to put a photo on my homescreen but still wanted its to look nice so this is what i came up with.

In the zip there is,

Blank photo background,
Baby photo background,
Photoshop File (.psd) so you can add your photo,
.PNG File with the black of the photo cut out for people who don't use photoshop.

No PlugIns required, tested on a C550.

I'm having problems sending files via infrared as well, I can receive files fine and BT is working (lilttle slow but working)

With the built in file manger it just stays on pend and in smart explorer i get an unable to connect message the when i try to beam again i get

"Error initializing Obex. Please restart Smart Explorer to have Orbex completely reloaded!"

Any help would be great because its starting to bug me now.

Is there an app already out? Would this be possible if there isn't? so i could plug my phone into any computer and quickly copy files?
