Does this mean that the existing program is dead and the software not working?

Should I, therefore, uninstall the old stuff?

Forget it!

Installing this one REMOVES THE OLD ONE!!

And I cannot find the cab to put it back - so I guess I lose out!

Ans they STILL owe me £30 (or possibly £60 by now!)

I am getting confused here unsure.gif

I have an AT&T Q9H that I was sent for the Insights Panel.

I have followed this thread as best I can and attempted to enable the GPS on it (assuming from the posts here that it has one!)

But GPSTEST just says "looking for GPS hardware" when I try it (using COM3 - 4800 baud)

Could someone tell me exactly what I should be doing and I can hard reset the device and try again.

Cheers

Can't remember if its any bigger, I think it may be, than the original, but you can get the 6 Cells from the medion website.

Link: https://www.medionshop.co.uk/
then use the search box and enter: 40025906
there batterys for the medion but the fit all wind versions (MSI Wind, Advent 4211 etc)

Hope this helps

Damian

Thats the one - thanks.

Bum - they are still quoting 15 days delivery though mad.gif

I like the battery, and am sorely tempted, but was kinda hoping for a 6 cell that would fit into same slot and not make it have a huge bump on the base.

Now someone (Paul?) did say where these could be had.

I can't remember - or find it now!

Any help please?

I get this very frequently - but only if I am in Navizon "mode". This one has several "glitches". http://tracker.modaco.com/index.php?mid=16...mp;jid=15386034

I am sure Paul at one time put it down to Navizon "stealing" the GPS for a while - can't remember the exact details now.

Hello!

I have installed Winterface on my MDA Touch XL 2 hours ago.
Installation was easy and successfull. Great work!
It looks and works great.
A few points on my wishlist: ;-)
- i don't need a keylock on my touch, because if i push the top-button, or after a certain time, the light switches off and all keys are locked. Normally if i push this button again to wake up my phone i'm able to use it - with winterface i first have
to move the slider. so it would be nice if this function could be disabled from settings-menu.
- is it possible to put functions as for example screen-rotate, light-dimming to the menus?

Yep - got to agree here.

In fact I have removed Winterface because of this! THat might sound trite but I really don't need the lock, especially as (at least for me) it is quite difficult to unlock using it

Hi... As the title says... Can I plug a usb cable into the bottom of the TYTN II and plug it into a card reader or directly into a camera to access stored photos?

I'm basically trying to get my photos off my camera (XD picture card) and put them on my TYTN II without using a computer. Is it possible?

Cheers

Pretty sure it won't work since the TYTN can only work as a USB slave and not a Host.

So it can only be a peripheral and connect to another computer.

Sorry.

There will be MORE 'additions' CABs than for the last ROM, i'm just a bit busy at work for the next 2 weeks. They're coming though!

Performance of this ROM is still perfect for me.

Any news on the addons yet?

First - don't turn off if you have another 6.1 device that isn't a diamond! Altho I am developing and testing for my Diamond, the resources are likely shared with other 6.1 devices, so you may well want to give the installer a try.

Good idea? blink.gif

Oh - 6.1 only :-( I still have not plucked up the courage to "6.1" my Kaiser!

Good idea nevertheless

Of course, that wont stop me upgrading to a Vario 4 when my contract expires; if it's free.

I have been having a play for a little while.

The trouble is - I am struggling to find anything that it is good for!

So far everything has been easier to achieve without using the software. What I mean is that when I get the stylus out to use it I actually NEED the stylus. Either that, or just using the D-pad to move about. For example it is SO much easier to use the onscreen keyboard with the stylus rather than a virtual mouse. And I find it much easier to use the D-pad to select links in a web page than to use either this software or the stylus.

If you can suggest something that I can try - I would be only too happy to give it a go!

Cheers

Sorry to be a pain.....

Could someone fill me in on the current status of this ROM as it seems to have gone a bit quiet.

I have read some of the posts here and elsewhere about screen lags and general responsiveness. I understand that a new/reised SPL fixes this. Is that correct?

How about the add-ons? There does not seem to be tbe same quantity for this ROM compared to the prrevious version.

I would love to give ttbis ROM a try but have been holding back since there is no way back (as far as I can tell.)

Cheers
