I wouldn't think that any rom you could find would support norwegian. You may have to pay for your mistake of not fully researching the language support for the rom that you upgraded to. If you'd post more information on the .dll file instructions i'm sure someone here if not myself could help you out.

I recommend just trying to flash it with a official update, if it still won't load, it could be paperweight time.

I've found MSN mobile to be just as good if not better with maps and directions. Just sign in with your passport.

I can't agree it's more stable. My best experiences have been with the WM5 Rom. But no MPx200 will operate the same. Neither will any computer with the exact same hardware, flashing your phone is risky, but rewarding. I guess depending on what you use the phone for.

Well, if all else fails you could always flash your phone with another rom, although messing with illegal roms is risky :|

Welcome to the MPx200 club, you made a great choice on purchasing a phone, even though it's a little behind the times as far as firmware goes. Anyways, thats a fixable problem. Hopefully you'll find everything here to sort out any bugs you may come across. Peace.

I was planning on it, if it wasn't going to let me hard-reset, I was going to try and flash it with WM2003 or the original firmware(I would probbably flash it with this anyway).
But if I can't get it to work, I guess it's spare parts time.

Welcome to the MPx200 club as awarner said; I have to say, this phone is some of the best money i've ever spent. I just bought another one off ebay tonight with all the accessories for $40usd(With shipping) HERE
The phone won't boot past HelloMoto, but thats an easy fix(Hopefully) anyway, this phone is used as my primary MP3 player, (Which isn't too bad with tweaks) I'll tell you what. PM me your address and I'll send you a MPx200 specific headset. No strings attached. biggrin.gif That is, if you live in the US and your package dosen't come with one. lol

Alright, call me stupid. But I need a replacement part for my phone.
The replacement part being the small plastic cover that is covering the earphone jack.
Mine broke off today, anyone know? smile.gif

Edit: If anyone has by some chance a broken MPx200 with that peice still on, I'd consider buying it.

Well, if you have a 1gb SD card which at the current time are around $80.00 USD Say you adverage 3mb per song. Thats about 330 MP3s. Which is more than I'd ever need. :?:

Why even use it? I would think GPRS would be cheaper and a better option; But as for stopping it from starting when you power on the phone; I would look for a registry tweak; I'm unfamiliar with orange or your particular model of phone; Hope my suggestion helps!

Lots of people have this problem with off-brand batteries, if yours is off-brand; You might consider a replacement. If not, follow the hard-resetting advice. It takes like 10mins to get off the 'HelloMoto' screen right after you reset.

Peace.

I'm not sure I should answer this, but if it says that on your phone; Just get another .exe of it(It won't work on WM2002 to my knowledge) It comes with some .dll file that you put in the same directory. If you need another build just google around.

You could try and flash it with a different ROM, if you need furthur instructions on how to do this. I suggest you google around. If that dosen't work; Try a new battery. If not that. Congratulations! You have a nice new paperweight.
