I discussed about it via palringo after I noticed it and posted a photo via it.

Thats probably where it was then! Thanks for clearing that up for me!

So is it true then, about the hose, not the arrow? My VW Sharan corresponds to the theory.

Everyone nip out and check your cars! smile.gif

Then I may just have a shot at it. Thanks for your help. smile.gif

I have a tab open and waiting for the thread. Is it as easy to install as the WM6 upgrade and will all my usual programs run on it?

Was it here I read it? About the fuel icon in cars, if the petrol pump has the hose on the left the petrol cap is on the left and vice-versa? Is that the one you mean?

Hi,

Yep, that was the thread! So I am not imagining it then! Its just that when I told my chap about it we checked out a few cars and the theory was wrong which is why I wondered if I had read the thread properly!

I'm glad you remember it too so i'm not going mad!

Yes, and sorry for such an irrelavant thread but I am trying to find a post, or part of a post that was on Modaco. It was someone, Paul I think, telling us about how you can tell which side your petrol cap is by the icon on the dash?

Did I get that right? I dont know, which is why I am trying to revisit the post that I cant find! I have been through the search function with no luck.

I tried to tell my boyfriend about it and he doesnt believe me, and i'm not sure if I understood the post properly which is why I am trying to find it again.

Does anyone know where that post is? Could you please post a link if you come across it. Thanks!

Maybe I just dreamt it!

Wow thanks for the video Paul, I have been avidly waiting for this video as you know!

I love the finger print recognition, can it be used as finger launch too, to launch applications?

Am I right in thinking it doesnt have GPS?

How does the size compare to the Ameo? The keyboard looks fab!

Your homescreen said T-Mobile, please corrent me if im wrong but I thought this was only coming out for Orange business customers, I am sure you probably got it from Expansys so do you know if it will be available at some point on T-Mobile? (God I hope so!)

While watching the video there were a million questions I wanted to ask but have completly forgotten now since I am so bedazzled by the device so I will ask them later when I remember! Or bombard you on Palringo at some point. biggrin.gif

Edited to ask... With it being vista, does it sync ok with XP, does it still sync via Activesync? If not how?

I watch DivX movies on my PSP without converting them via the memory card, I have the Dark Alex version, dont know if that makes a difference. Its good quality video and the sounds good too.

The kids have normal PSPs and they use the internet over our home wifi, I thimk they find the keyboard a drag though.

I replied, Good luck! biggrin.gif

Why would phone companies want to target gender specifics? I dont want to sound all feminist but its a bit sexist isnt it? Thinking about this subject tho, i'd hate my phone company to treat me like a 'female', presuming such things like if im a female I will want a nice pink Moto Razor with Brad Pitt wall paper. Its wierd that companies put research in to such things.

I have upgraded to WM6 using the T-Mobile upgrade. I didnt find anything called ICS but I found what you are talking about in Internet Sharing (Previously I had been going through my Connection Settings), the woman at T-Mo told me just to switch on HSDPA, although I knew there was more to it than that!

Anyway I have just followed your advice and tried USB and Bluetooth under Internet Sharing and it still doesnt work. sad.gif

I called T-Mobile to ask about the USB internet, the lady on the phone advised me to just upgrade to the plus package which I did. Its supposed to be switched over to Plus now, but the only thing is I cant figure how to set it up!

The lady on the phone said I only need a cable, I cant figure it, has anyone done this? If so how do you do it please? mellow.gif

Thanks in advance!

Phwoar! That keyboard looks gorgeously sexy! Was thinking about the Shift next time around but may stick with the Ameo now they have sorted the keyboard out. It looks much slicker! Cant wait to see how this goes!

Cheers Paul, you've made my day! biggrin.gif

Edited to say, I just noticed its lost a few buttons, losing the 3 on the front slickens up the look of it and I never use them anyway but why lose the Comm Manager button / voice dial and application launching, its a handy button when your driving, hmmmm.

Are you running WM6? Do you not get the problems that I'm seeing? My Style-i seems to loose connectivity. Random BT switch offs on the Advantage? I'm in two minds as to wether to contact HTC and check I don't have a faulty unit.

Yes I am running the latest T-Mobile WM6 upgrade. It does drop out from time to time, maybe a couple of times a day, but no more, I can live with that, its better than shouting in to my massive phone in public. smile.gif

Right, so that's why I'm having so many problems with bluetooth - good job it's a standard isn't it! :-( Do you get the problems of bluetooth needing switching off then back on your advantage to make things work as well? Lord only knows what's going on. MS if you're listening - sort it out!

Oh well - back on ebay you go Style-I!

Let me know if anyone is selling a style-i please, one of the kids just tipped a glass of water over mine! Surprisingly though its still working at the minute, its got me thinking though, I really could do with a spare. So if anyone is selling one please let me know. I know they are selling them on ebay quite cheap but id rather not pay $45.00 for delivery.
