QUOTE(awarner (MVP) @ Jan 15 2007, 16:07) *
Have you been removing the battery?
This is a known problem and the only solution would be to take the phone apart and replace the internal battery.
The date it will normally go back to is the factory date of the ROM.

Try taking the main battery out and see what happens when you power it back on.
As for manually resetting the phone a quick connection to your PC via Activesync will sort this out automatically.

I have not been removeing the battery, infact the only time I removed the battery is when I put in my 1gb card and restarted the phone the time and date were still right. I know active sync will set things straight, however I dont have a computer with the program on it at work and this is when it normaly happens, and it is normaly just out of the blue blink.gif

guy's. I'm trying to figure this one out and I'm stumped. I cannot update the date and time through the cell towers like my old non-smartphones. Every so often the date and time will reset itself to some odd date and time, it is not the same every time but it does this about once a month.

is there some feature I have not seen that will allow me to be able to update the time and date through the cell towers, or is there some sort of program I need to install in order for this to happen.

I rely on the calander and when the time and date resets it throws everything off for a while untill I manualy reset it mad.gif

I know it has been a while since I posted something but Olivier, I have the e-mail sent by Mobiluck to download the program. and in the selection list it listed the HTC typhoon as a phone that was supported. the HTC Typhoon is the Audiovox SMT5600 that I own. If you are from Mobiluck then you need to make sure the website lists the phones properly as to what is supported and what is not supported.

I have been racking my head about this one, removed it and re-installed and I'm still getting errors when I try and start MobiLuck.

this is what I get

MobiLuck.exe
Exception

MISC::MandleAR+0x5b
MENUITEM::_SETinfo +0x13
MENUITEM::set ENABLE+0x2n::i+0x63a
ag::.ctor+0x727
ag::q+0xa

what in the world is going on. It only works for about 3 or 4 start-up's then I get this same error over and over again and sometimes it locks up or even restarts my phone :evil:

just incase, this is a SMT5600 running 2003SE Version 4.21.1088 (build 15045.2.6.0)

I have been able to get some of the software I want installed no problem. But the problem exists when all I have is the _setup.xml file and the other files associated with it, *.001, *.002, and so on.

I can look at the setup file and see whats going on on my computer. But the phone wont run the file, all I get is a blank screen from IE. is there some sort of setting I havent enabled, a dll, ini, or exe file that I need to have to get this to work?

Yes, this is my first smartphone, so I am a noob when it comes to this. :roll:
