With efficient code and compiled for the Samsung processor, it could run well on the Hermes but that's a lot more work and developers would rather rely on the hardware acceleration of the axim's. As for no demo versions; it's a tactic to reduce piracy, don't see the point as all it takes is one person to buy, crack and spread the file. |

As previously mentioned this is a test ROM, CF2 and WPA2 should be included in the full release as they are features of AKU 3. The quoted release date is Q1. |

The slideout keyboard supports multiple button presses. The screen can only register one press at a time. No reg edit or software can get around this, it is a hardware restriction. |

Try below, a previous poster was talking about a touch screen emulator, try the file I've posted, copy it to your device and run it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...375#post1128375 |

Don't bother with that, it's an old emulator and will never work on your device. Try Morphgear, it's a bit old as well but works on my latest device and produces the most faithful emulation of the PC Engine I have seen, can't remember if you have to pay for the PC Engine module, I think it's free. Also try here under PC Engine: http://www.ppc-welt.info/community/showthread.php?p=193763 It's a comprehensive list of emulators, XPCE is another PCE emulator I use for games that no run in Morphgear (it can be twitchy), it emulates more games, crashes out less but has a sporadic tempo when it comes to the music. Also I seem to remember Smartgear running them also, in this forum, posted by bitbank. ... Oh BTW, GAPI is pre-installed on all modern devices, in the I-Paq days it was not. It's not a good idea to overwrite it and it probably wont make any difference. |

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} is the windows key where you can make the change, it may be the same for PPC. |

For updates keep an eye on the www.xda-developers.com site and their wiki. The latest ROMs usually find there way here quickly. http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=320 is the forum, it's new but should gain momentum. |

Don't forget to copy tgetfile.dll to the same location as Picodrive otherwise you won't be able to load games. You can get it from http://www.modaco.com/content-page/237281/pagination/page/80/. |

I had this problem with my Hermes. It's the operating system causing this problem, not thumb pad. If you try enough soft resets you'll probably find it'll work 50% of the time. A ROM upgrade sorted it for me but you could also try SIP Change http://www.modaco.com/content-page/243906/pagination/page/0/. This sets the keyboard of your choosing to be the default one when soft resetting. This made it work more often than not for me. |

If your having problems creating the cache don't alter your reg settings, it's likely to have no effect as final burn builds the cache in a sub-folder where it is located. Use fbaud (first post) to create the cache on your PC and copy it onto your PPC. On another note PocketCultMAME .5 is a WORK IN PROGRESS release and is not supposed to work on all devices and flawlessly so for gods sake treat it as such. twolf; the directory you last saved the state to probably isn't stored. You have probably saved the states in these locations yourself and have taken it for granted that you are in the save state folder. |
