have all your questions been answered by mar? mine was successfully unlocked from smart's latest rom version to qtek rom. i have tried inserting globe and sun cellular network and it did work. the procedure is just very easy if you follow it step by step. the only downside of the qtek rom is that, the t9 dictionary does not recognize some of the english word. kasi may mga accented letter. and maganda sa qtek rom, you can set the ringing, notification and other sounds to vibrating + sound, vibrating only, etc. on various profiles. i did not find this option in samrt's 1.7 rom version. if somebody still has a problem, ask mar or me. i'll gladly help. email me at esp_leo@yahoo.com

hi guys, paano ba i unlock ang 1.7.13.0 na version ng smart, i was able to retrieve the unlocking code pero ayaw pa rin. pwede ba yung mars procedure ibigay na lang dito? magpapalabas daw kasi ang smart ng 1.8 na rom version e. i tried also to upgrade to q tek pero walang nangyayari. for hours, white screen lang nakadisplay sa sap ko.

i have successfully retrieved the unlocking code using the spvunlockcode2 but when i pop in a new sim from another network, the phone goes into the airplane mode. i've let it stay on for long but it did not ask for the unlocking code.

i have tried this and the code was successfully retrieved but when i tried sim of another operator, it says 'your sim is invalid'. i have the latest rom of smat which is 1.7. can anybody help

i have the recent rom version of smart. i was not able to unlock it with the previous rom version but would like to unlock it now. can anybody help?
i have tried it before with all the steps from this forum but retrieving the unlocking code is only up to 66%, then it fails.

i have tried unlocking the phone using the step by step procedure puiblished here. i also have downloaded the unlocking zip file. after the canary (3 colors) appear, i have exerteded enopugh effrots to locate my mobile device but my pc could't just locate it. what happened? i have turned the phone on and off several times but in vain. is it because i am using only a usb cable without a cradle for the phone? or is it because i have upgraded to a newer version of the operating system by my network provider? if the second reason is possible, could there be any other way i can unlock my phone.
