Hi,

What problems are you having?

I had a problem where the screen was small, fuzzy and distorted so unusable.
It was fixed with Tom Tom Mobile 5.2 check here

Note you also need to copy the files directly onto your card via a card reader and not via Active Sync.

Hope this helps

I basically can't get the appliation to boot up. On my Qtek s100 the software automatically loaded from the SD card, but on the 8500 it doesn't seem to do that.

Thanks very much, I'll give both of these suggestions a go tonight

Hi

Have any of you been able to load TomTom Navigator 5 on to your Qtek 8500? I have the software copied on to my storage card, but I can't get the application to work. Any ideas? sad.gif

Hi, I have come across an intermittant problem with when sending SMS messages from my Qtek S100.

I go into text messaging and select new, then in the "To:" part I start to type the name of the person that I want to send a text message to.

Sometimes the predictive lookup comes up with the name of the person from my address book that I want to send the text to, which is great as I then just tap on the name and it automatically inputs the number I require, but then sometimes it doesn't and I actually have to click on "To" and go into the address book to look for the person that I want to send the text to.

There doesn't seem to be any reason for the predictive lookup switching itself on and off as and when it pleases.

Has anyone else had this problem? I want to be able to use the predictive lookup for all entries in my address book at all times.

Any help would be greatly appresciated

Cheers

Lou
