I had just this problem a few days ago!

The user agent string you want (I think) is this one - at least this worked for me

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.30)

I should live in a string called Custom under HKLM\security\internet explorer\user agent

this comes with built in charger & a speaker, all mount kit

if anyone has bought this item please leave any comments/ advice on wether or not to purchase this item

Hi all out there. Just got my M600 phone but have had no luck in getting TOMTOM mobile 5 working. Worked fine on my C500, looked on TT website, cant find this model listed.?? Any ideas anyone????.

Is the SIM card set up to recieve MMS and GRPS signal?

Once you have set up the GPRS connection in your connection settings, (Start > settings > Connections > Connections > Manage esisting connections) make sure that the one you have set up for MMS is selected before sending recieving MMS ( I have one set for internet and one for MMS, I ahve found that the "Autopick option never correctly chooses which connection to use for MMS or internet so I have to go here each time to check internet or MMS connection depending on what I am doing. Annoying)

Now go into "messaging" choose "menu" at the bottom.

Then "MMS Configuration"

Click on the "servers" tab

Either select the one already in there and edit it or click on "new".

Now input the details as per your provider. I use Vodafone so mine are:

Server Name = Vodafone MMS
Gateway = 212.183.137.12
Port Number = 9201
Server Address = http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms
Connect via = (drop down list to choose whatever connection you want that is configured in "connections" as mentioned first)

Sending size limitation = 100k (if you can chioose higher then do so)
WAP Version = 1.2

Now try and send, see what happens. Let me know how you get on, if you need i will elaborate on this and add some screenshots etc, don't have the time at the mo.

just got it on an upgrade from my m2000 (to big, didnt use it that much after a change of job, txting a pain and wasnt to good out on the beer) And 20 mins in im very happy.

No probs syncing it with my pc everythings going well.

Ive never had a smartphone, just a sony p900 and a spv m2000 which are completely different. Are there any teweaks/ fixes i should be making on the first day? anything to speed it up, it "hangs" for a while whole loading an application alot.

Also, is there any crcking software available that i should be getting my mitts on?

Oh and loving the qvga screen!

hmmm, a small problem here. I dl the cab file, moved it to my storage card and tried to run it from within file manager.

I then get a message saying that the installation was unsuccessful because I do not have sufficient system permissions.

I HAVE application unlocked and de-certed my C600 already.

any other sugestions? Does this have to be run on an i-mate ROM or will it work on the default orange ROM too?

Is there anywhere outside of imate (I am not a member) that I can download these cab files from so I can put the settings onto my SPV C600?

Which after I pointed it out to them, they promised to have uploaded on their site last Wednesday the 16th.

And they didn't as I downloaded it for my second I-mate on Friday.

I emailed them, but no reply.

Seems they FINALLY sorted it out...

It would appear that this rom is Image version is 1.5.312.6

My 8310 is currently running 1.5.322.5

Unless im mistaken it is an earlier rom.

The current Imate is 1.5.333.0

I guess we will have to keep waiting.

when i put the ir beam next to a laptop it's being recognized by the laptop's ir beam as a computer(c600) and that means that is actived , but there is no ir on/off switch

I was wondering if it's possible to deactivate it or make a application only to do just that
