Well I know it's custom firmware but it's still just a Netgear router isn't it? (Well, mine is anyway). I would expect what Sky mean is they don't provide customer service for Linux, not that the router can't do it. Have you tried googling for setup instructions? You might be lucky and find that someone else has had the same problem. |

I've started getting HSDPA in Sheffield now, so looks like the roll out is happening, just a bit slower than I'd realised. And yes, this is on a contract taken out in Feb, with WnW standard, so it looks like the November thing may just be a myth. |

I've found most sites I look at seem to have had at least a few in now, both XP and Xandros But what do we think, is the 1GB ram going to be enough or will it be worth stocking up a bit more? I think I'm probably going to put off buying mine for a few weeks until my exams are over. |

Yeah that is the standard behaviour. It's the same on mine, and was on my old Wizard too. I'd think a longer tone would do it, or modify the tone you use on your pc to loop then use that. |

I'm on the same package as you ans I wasn't sure. When I asked in the shop they said I would get HSDPA, but then I never got my little H in Sheffield so I thought they were lying. But one day, going into London it turned up, so yes, you can seem to get HSDPA. |

I'm running MSN Messenger on a wizard on o2 and no message. So I guess this is only a Windows Live Messenger, not MSN Messenger issue. So the question is, can you rollback to MSNM or is it easier to just use the competition (if that'll still work!)? |

I was in a T store on the 30th December and they said it would be within 2 weeks. Seems a bit soon but it's a good sign! |

QUOTE Secondly, mine suffers from the little glitch/stutter every few minutes when listening to music which my Kaiser does too, which ruins it for me as a music player Any update on this bug? Is it reproduceable, have many people noticed it? Only this could be a deal breaker for me, if I can't listen to music/watch video on it then it's of fairly minimal use to me. Maybe it's just an Orange bug, does it happen on both that and the HTC ROMs? Thanks, Charlie |

Nothing particularly outstanding, but my ventures this weekend tell me this: T-Mobile Camden think the release date will be announced in the next week or two (so a week or two after that for the phone itself?...) T-Mobile High Wycombe claim to have the display kit, dummy phone etc. in store, but they won't put it out until a date's confirmed. Again they thought they would know in a week or two. |

So with the sliding keyboard and the thumbwheel...any idea how useable it'll be for left handers? My Wizard is fine but I'm curious about the Kaiser. Cheers, Charlie |

Yeah 4GB cards work fine. No idea who mine was from, it was a present, but it seems even more reliable than my old 512 did. |

I went for a small ball of bluetac dropped down the hole. Holds it in pretty well. |

I use Windows Media Encoder You can set it to QVGA (320x240) easily, and vary the framerate. I had a movie come out to 230mb yesterday for 90 minutes, which had a framerate of 20. It's not perfect but I only just got it so I'm still getting used to the settings. It'll take input from pretty much any file you've got, including DivX. It's worth a try anyway, some people like it, some less so. Charlie |

But does anyone know any registry hacks to turn off notifications that aren't in the list? The sent message tone being the really annoying one. |

I've been struggling to find a way to turn off the annoying sent message tone as there's no notification setting for it. Apparently there's a registry fix to do it. Anyone know it by any chance? Thanks Charlie |
