well i followed MVP's ownership method, and while it does work, I found that using the batch script file I posted a link to previously was more effective in changing and maintaining the proper ownership of files not to get a BSOD, that was my experience how do you get vista so small, i got vlite but can onlyu get it to 2.0 g |

please someone provide some insight on my situation. I have called at&t, who has directed me to samsung. called samsung, who directed me to at&t. viscious cycle. have a blackjack II that is unlocked. it is at&t branded, unlocked to use on tmobile at one time. i am now using it on at&t, and have been unable to get the phone to pickup 3G signal. it reads either E (EDGE) or G (gprs?'). i have hard and soft reset, both providing no fix. checked internet and connection settings, all correct according to at&t. when i pop my SIM in my 8525, i get 3G. i would greatly appreciate any help given. I believe your problem is in your Admin Settings. You can access this by entering *#1546792*# This will access Admin Settings, choose Network & Call Settings, then choose Network Mode. Make sure Auto is selected, that should do it. Also, you should do a soft boot before and after you try this fix. |

Hi, great work. Feature request: implement a full read mode that allows to share card with pda. I have a htc touch and I want to use it with my car stereo trought usb connection. The usb emulator allows me to charge the mp3, but I want to use TomTom Navigator (only read in usb mode and full access to pda apps). When I compare Card Export and WM5torage, WM5torage is faster than Card Export in the car stereo. Thank you, and sorry for my english X-) |

Even I was doing it for the first time, and was a bit nervous. But, there is nothing that really needed to be worried about. If you are okay with getting all personal data (Contacts, Calendar etc.) erased, then go ahead with it. In my case, I sync all my data with my PC everyday. But, otherwise you don't need to be worried about anything. As after this upgrade, you will have the phone, as if you have just bought. To be precise, it is more like you have done a hard reset. But again, at the end of it, you have the latest ROM inyour device, which has been performing better than the previous one, in my case at least. Is it like reformatting/installing new windows on a pc or more like a service pack (replace system files only)? Im wondering if all added applications and settings will be lost (most of my applications were installed directly with a .cab on the mobile - not activesync)? Configurations (ie speedial configuration, wireless networks), Flash hack, etc. What about stuff installed on storage card? Thanks! |

Ok finally found it under /Uploads/Smartphone/Vox/ROMs/Shipped on ftp.xda-developers.com ... Maybe HTC made the new ROM available to a limited number of members for some reason (progressive deployment). So any comments so far about this new ROM? (performance, usability, bugs...) |

Hi! I've been searching for a long time now and I can't seem to get any clearity about bluetooth enabled java MIDlets. My phone (Orange SPV C600) is not able to connect via bluetooth using MIDlets. I know this is (currently) not possible because my phone does NOT have the jsr-82 Bluetooth API. My question is: Is there a way to install this API??? Thanks in advance. |

Ok, I've been searching for almost a full day now and I can't seem to find an ORANGE ROM pre-AKU2. So I need a ROM which is the same as the ROMS the C600 was shipped with. I believe it's version 1.*.*.0 or something like that. Can anybody post a link? I would be very grateful. |

I have a treo 700w and its awesome. the NES emulator rocks (pocketNES) but most other emulators cut off the right half of the screen. finalburn, genesis emulators, even wolf3d do it. i just want to know what other treo users have found that works. -matt PS: pocketNES (or maybe my phone) dosnt accept 2 button input at the same time (say im playing mario and i want to both run and jump) if someone has an emulator that will fix that, i would pay. thanks for any help. |

I'm using a Samsung SCH-i760 on Verizon, and when I installed this program, I only had one network to disable: BroadBandAccess. The reason I downloaded this program is because I was referred to it in another forum, when asking how I can avoid using Verizon's pay-per-kB data network, and still use MMS. A user there said he/she/it was using it and it blocked BBA, but not SMS/MMS/Phone connections. Unfortunately, I installed the program, disabled my only choice, and immediately tried to send a picture message... The message didn't send. I went back into NoData and enabled the BBA network and sent the same picture message from the DRAFTS folder, and it sent with no problem at all. Is there any way to use SMS/MMS/Phone while blocking pay-as-you-go data usage? Check out this forum for more info: http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/samsung-sch...html#post689079 |

I just ordered a black one, and got it for £198 delivered, but I'm afraid I can't tell you where from. Delivery is a bit slow, 2 - 5 working days, but at the price I can wait. Suficed to say, it's out of stock now. |
