Excellent, that's just what I wanted to hear. I shall be getting myself a jawbone straight away I was having the same problem with the minikit as you detailed above. you may want to wait a week or so, they've just announced a new Jawbone half the size http://www.pocket-lint.co.uk/news/news.pht...h-headset.phtml |

Dave ... Ive got the parrot Minikit in the car. I've found that it works ok ... but what bugs me is that I have to manually connect the device each time and tell it that it is the headset. Is this what you found with the Parrot Minitkit? I bought my partner a jawbone, and she love it. Im tempted to get myself a jawbone ... but only if it works such that I turn on bluetooth on the handset, turn on the jawbone and it connects. Id rather not be fiddling around every time going into settings to tell the kaiser that the connected bluetooth device should be used as the headset! Thanks Tom PS Essentially I want it to work like my old Sony Ericsson phone ... turn on bluetooth and turn on device ... and all sorted! I found that the minikit showed as being connected but most of the time didnt transfer the audio (firmware 1.03c, lots of complaints about TyTn II on the Parrot forums). It worked fine with my Vario II so I dont know what happened, anyway it was a good excuse to buy a new gadget! With the Jawbone I leave bluetooth on on the phone and turn the Jawbone on/off as i get in or out of the car. It just connects every time with no problems. As to my earlier issue I did a hard reset, and both the phone and Jawbone now ring with an incoming call, I then reinstated a backup and they both still ring (for now) so its all good. The jawbone looks to be a winner, am going to try and get a better fit by cramming a jabra minigel onto it rather than the jawbone ear pieces. |

I've checked the latest version of SPB Phone Suite and thats made no difference, with any of the profiles enabled, its going to be a pain this. I've paired and repaired the headset and with its services as either HandsFree or Headset the same behaviour occurs. I could try uninstalling Phone Suite and seeing if that makes a difference but I really really like it ! just done a hard reset, paired the Jawbone and now both ring on an incoming call! Now got to start adding the progs back one by one to see what the issue is, this could take some time... |

Just tried this on my TMobile Vario III (Running TLR's 6.1) - When a call comes through the phone rings and the BT headset (Jabra BT 500v) vibrates... Just so you know SF I've checked the latest version of SPB Phone Suite and thats made no difference, with any of the profiles enabled, its going to be a pain this. I've paired and repaired the headset and with its services as either HandsFree or Headset the same behaviour occurs. I could try uninstalling Phone Suite and seeing if that makes a difference but I really really like it ! |

Hi just got a new Jawbone (after realising my faithful Parrot Minikit didn't work very well with my Vario III) which is working nicely with my Vario III, MS Voice Command working properly and the quality seems to be very good. One piece of curious behaviour though is the phone ringing. When a call comes in the Jawbone rings but the phone only vibrates. I can't get both the phone and the Jawbone to ring - this is annoying because whilst its a pretty comfortable headset I dont want to wear it all the time in the car or whenever its connected. Can anybody confirm this also happens with theirs? The only thing I have that could possibly be messing it up is SPB Phone Suite Many thanks Dave |

mm, just installed and really like it. One small problem though is that I store all my videos and images on the storage card. I cant find a way to make it look on the storage card for these items, nor to ignore folders in my main memory to avoid it uploading all the SPB avatars, etc. Is it possible or am I just 'not getting it' ? Edit: sorry just read the previous post about it not being possible! Surely though it should pick the stuff up on the storage card? Also it hasn't got my speed dials? |

Look at this - £5 extra a month (granted data is £5 on top of that) but look at all those minutes / texts. (1100 any time any net) Hurry!! Don't forget quidco (£80 back) and refer a friend (£30 back). Free phone (probably poor) which you can flog for a few quid. http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/153215/3-mo...h-1100-20-a-mo/ O2 have a £7.50 unlimited bolt on as well now. No connecting it to your laptop, no P2P or VOIP allowed though (same as the standard WnW) i believe. I was only looking as I can't decide between the £180 T-Mob want as an upgrade to the Vario III or moving to O2 and going for the very nice looking Orbit 2 which I could get for £90 on a similar contract. Totally torn between the two .. |

on the bluetooth headphones idea though. Are these any good, and are the compatible with my phone? http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/3257...html?P36=72EJ6L Not a bad price, and i'd imagine sonys sound quite good? Is bluetooth pretty reliable for headphone connections? Thanks again i got a set of them last week, the sounds good but getting them to stay on my ears is another matter. They are quite heavy and flop around a bit. Couldnt get MS Voice Command working properly with them either. I've just bought some Jabra BT320S as well, and I prefer them but cant say I'll be using either set a lot. Had missed calls using both sets whilst listening to music. |

I live outside of Bogota, Colombia in the rural area mountains, own an E-ten x500+. Downloaded google maps but it does not work, does not show anything only a "dot". I am aware that for this region there is no road maps, but an a previous google map I could see some satellite photos of the region and on map it was pretty bad drawing! Any comments from people in this region? anyone else having trouble getting this to work on T-Mobile over 3G? I have it working really well on GPRS but as soon as I get 3G coverage its position unavailable. This hapens even if I turn the phone on and off again, it doesnt seem towork at all on 3G. Vario II, T-Mobile with the official WM6 ROM |

I get exactly the same problem. I tested it and the results seem consisten, whenever data transfer is going on my phone will divert to voicemail (MDA Vario 2 on WM6) Does anyone know how to fix this? Also T-mobile support told me that turning off 3G sorts out other dropping call, and diverting to voicemail issues.... your calls will go to voicemail if you have an active data connection in a 'GPRS', i.e 2G area, you can use data and voice together when you are in a 3G area |

It worked brilliantly on my HTC Touch at work in Central London but once I tried to use it at points on the way home I couldn't get it to refresh where I was and it insisted I was still at work. Only way I could get it to refresh was to reboot the phone! yes same here, seems to be a lot more accurate now though and some menus have become available that were greyed out before, in fact its a totally different menu structure. Sat view is available again. It may need a soft reset after every use to get it going again! |

you'll have to use something like SPB Phone suite to get the profiles. It has auto switching so when its in the car it can use the auto answer, etc. Its over here http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/phonesuite/?en and dont even try to use a Parrot Bluetooth, if you search on here and XDA Developers you'll see there a massive issue with constant disconnects andthe Hermes / TyTn / Vario II |

hasn't exactly worked for me either, I'm getting a very slow email down now - its taken at least 5 minutes! I just stayed with tmob as well, I wasn't having any issues until this week. Pretty disappointing. How would tmob deal with a complaint on this issue? mines up and working agai now, but seems to be only working on GPRS not 3G, no idea what would cause that |

Hmmm The (very very nice) lady in Tech Support said it's because of "the bandwidth needed to sync with an Exchange server". I thought Exchange ActiveSync was actually quite traffic-light, but what do I know. Her reasoning was that "because of the greater bandwidth on 3G it's more likely to work, and you're more likely to have timeouts on GPRS because of the slower speeds". "on GPRS if the cell is busy as it splits available capacity between active users" so it slows everyone down when busy and AS fails. On a personal note (not that personal, it's safe to read) She checked my home post code and said that the (one and only!) cell that covers a HUGE area around me gets a lot of GPRS use and has lots of dropped calls too. That's not so reassuring. If "my" cell goes there's no others around that would reach me. I'm going to have to look at other networks I think. strange but thats not my problem as i'm only POP'ing into an exhange server and POP email. Hopefully it will be working gain tomorrow |

Odd, I have the same problem on my Samsung I600 (Smartphone WM5) and had put it down to bad weather here. Works fine on 3G, fails a lot on GPRS. I resorted to using 3G in the office (good signal here) and 30 minute sync schedule on GPRS at home. I think a call to T might be in order. strangely today as well my email has given up, browsing works fine but all email accounts are stuck at connecting, although they connect fine on wifi and have worked OK for the last 9 months. Can they be blocking the POP / Exchange ports or something? |

Hi I had this problem once, it took literally days to find anyone that had the same problem. Then I found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...vesync+contacts the instructions in post #3 resolved my issue. On mine it was any contact or appointment which had a photo or note attached. Hope it works D |
