I purchased a Qtek S200 (PPC 2005) a few days ago and it worked perfectly for a while. Now, every few hours, it crashes, stays on the today screen, but does not do anything when I touch the screen. Either that happens, or a screen comes up telling me to close some applications as there is a critical amount of "no memory"....which is not true as it only shows me to close "text messages" or "phone". I have only installed one task manager and my contacts into the phone...what could be the problem? I seem to have to remove the battery each time it crashes which is a real bore! |

It is easy to change a ringtone to a custom one, but I cannot seem to find a way to do the same with the sms tone. Does anyone know where to install the tone so that it will show up as an option in the notification sound list? Thanks |

I am having serious problems with Info Sharp on my Samsung I300. Firstly, I find the download instructions given, very difficult to understand. So if anyone could let me know exactly where to place each .cab file and where to extract the .zip file to, that would be great! Also, it seems that everytime I switch my phone off, when I switch it on again, the filters I created have disappeared! This is very annoying. Please help as this software seems so great but I find it all a bit confusing |

I downloaded a homescreen theme that comes with extra notification screens, i.e. the info screen etc. These came in a separate .cab file which I downloaded. However, I would now like to remove them and don't know where to find them? Anyone know which part of the phone they are stored on? Thanks! |

I just purchased a Samsung I300. I installed AutomaticKeylock Version 3.70 but removed it a few minutes later. Now, each time I go to the Start Menu or any other applications, and leave the phone without touching the buttons for three secs. it automatically returns to the homescreen. This is very irritating! Please help |

QUOTE(mini_man @ Mar 29 2006, 21:10) put all the files in application data\home make sure they are not in anyother folders other than that. Thank you. It all works except that the time doesnt show up in the top and the icons at the bottom don't do anything although I do think I have all the plugins required. |

I am trying to download the following homescreen to my Qtek 8300 but dont know where to put all the .bmp files that are contained in the .zip file and am not sure what to do with the exe file either as it does not open on my computer and looks strange when I try to open it on my phone. Please let me know where to download all the different files to as this looks like such a cool theme. http://www.nectun.com/details_skin.php?id_...0&id_type_tel=2 |

QUOTE(awarner [MVP] @ Mar 29 2006, 11:51) Presumably you installed the games to your storage card? If so check that the phone can still see the card or another bug that has been noted with WM5 is occasionally the phone forgets the card is there and creates a new Storage card while renaming the old card to Storage card 2. Thank you SO much. That seems to have solved the problem. |

Hi, I have a Qtek 8310 and when I download Astraware games (i.e. Cubis) onto my phone, even after having registered them, I seem to be able to play them once, and then when trying to access them again, I get an alert saying "Can't find "cubisSP-arm' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all the required libraries are available.` What could the problem possibly be? Thanks! |

QUOTE(Crispy @ Mar 28 2006, 21:33) Hmmm, sounds odd that it would do it at random. You can try a hard reset - that will most likely solve your problem. This is what you do; 1. Power off the phone and unplug it from the computer. 2. Press and hold soft1 and soft2 keys. 3. Press and hold power button for around 1 to 1.5 seconds. Release power button. Keep hold soft1 and soft2 keys. 4. Later, screen shoould show instructions to ask user to press '0' key to reset to factory default. 5. Press '0' within the timeout period, which is only several seconds only. 6. If no instruction is shown on the screen, repeat steps 1 to 4. Timing is sensitive Thank you! It worked |

I have a Qtek 8300 and it seems that whenever I use a homescreen theme that is not a default theme (i.e. not Microsoft), and I try to dial a number from the homescreen, the DTMF sounds work, but the screen either turns blank or it sticks to the homescreen. Any ideas why this should happen? |

I have a Qtek 8310 (WM5) and am desperately looking for a plugin that would create a popup on the homescreen when I receive a new SMS message...is there anything available and if not, is anyone in the process of creating it? I think it is essential! Thanks |

Hi, I have a Qtek 8310 (WM5) I have managed to uninstall PocketCandy from my phone but the shortcut to it still remains in my Start menu? I don't know where to go to remove it and have tried rebooting my phone but had no success. How do I do this? Thanks |

I have a Qtek 8310 and as you know, one can assign a photograph to each contact by using the normal contact software. However, when the person calls, the photograph is so small, it is almost not visible! I checked and the actual size of the photograph is quite large, so there must be a way of changing the settings...but where? Thanks! |
