the software doesnt suck, its not to big and yes it doesnt give you much else for the other buttons (but enough, 14 buttons that is !!, as it only uses 9 keys)


i can also ask this question; masterall can u code ur emulators so that the keypad/joystick becomes 9 way and can u also make any key multipress functional on HTC phones ? the answer would obviously be NO...

masterall, any change of supporting NINE WAY KEYPAD http://www.smartphone.net/software_detail....eid=279&id=2133 with your emulators, its a commercial piece of software that changes the keyboard to nine way keypad, you obviously know that almost all HTC devices only has a 5 way keypad and also multipress works with only 3 keys......

yep, those buttons.... at least on my sp3/c500 . almost all smartphones have a 5 way keypäd, the only phone i know with a 9 way keypad is mpx200.....


multipress works only with the 2 upper buttons and the `star` button, dont know the english name for that---
all other buttons fail...its a hardware issue, with the mpx200 u can use any button multipress...

yea i tested version 0.44 too from IOICN, plz make an english version !
also a lot of roms crash now like ultimate mortal kombat 3, sonic 2+3, paperboy, pete sampras tennis, prince of percia, international superstar soccer ..

but it has Z80 and some other sound chip emulated ! grt, though speed difference is very noticable, i think it still needs a lot of tweaking but it is a huge step already, well done coders

well i found some weird bug (tested with 2 different phones)...
its on 1 game called Bust-A-Move on the GameGear, for some reason it cannot display the background properly...the rest of the game is fine..
worked great on the older version (0.05)

phones look good, but 1,9 inch non qvga screen ..wonder why they are taken this road...
512 MB flash is nice....
also i see a lot of stuff like FM radio and WIFI are ´optional´....

about mariokart, yes it does play slow or has bugs, could also depends on the version number or rom you are using, i find that 1.52 for some reason on my phone is NOT better then 1.51, a loth of roms dont load anymore, weird bugs and stuff wich i dont have with 1.51......

another thing for masterall, DK COUNTRY 2 works perfect with your emu (sound,speed very playable) but the older DK COUNTRY struggles (slow speed, sound)...could you find out why ? I experimented alot with the frameskipping and sound but none of them helped..

THX and hope to see updates of your great emu's in the future (esp. picodrive, hope z80 will be added and working )

just email the author and ask if he will port it to smartphone or ask for the source if its freeware and mod it (or let someone else mod it)... the worst thing that could happen is getting no respons...

i think u should leave the nes(pocketnesterplus is free and is better) and megadrive (picodrive masterall port is very very decent+ FREE) and even the turbo sumthing sumthing....try to emulate NEO GEO POCKET, ATARI LYNX, GB ADVANCE and keep it like a "pocket console emulator"...

all of them are also for qvga nowadays...at least masterall ports are and it think they are the best. Sonic 1 on megadrive port plays great with sound, the future will prolly have all games running with sound full speed...

genesis games dont work for me

most of thetime if a rom doesnt load,hangs, doesnt matter wich emu, gbc,gamegear,genesis, ... the `back key` doesnt work, though the `paused` function is still accesable with the defined key, standard its the ´0´ key

when will other games have sound(z80) ? , i think it should be possible for a lot of megadrive games to have sound and music and still run at a decent speed !

dude wm5 has nothing to do with pocketsnes (it runs on any wm os)
also i hope u are not sharing any of the wm5 rom files in that package cuz thats against forum rules ......oh and ur mpx wm5 runs at 120mhz although it is overclockable to 157 mhz on wm2003 and 144 on wm5....

a lot of games run great with sound if u put frameskip to 4, just try to play with the settings to get the best performance per game.. ! awesome

u need filedialogsp.dll , shareware version, u can find it in the picodrive tread..

POCKETNESTERPLUS: runs nice but i cant seem to find screen modes eg landscape right
POCKETGBA: as soon as i try "load rom", i get the filedialogsp nag screen and then it hangs at the startscreen of pocketgba.. :shock:

i tried it too and got the same unregisterd version screen, he ask 15 dollar per module, this is shareware software, prolly has more limitations but as i said this program isnt handy and should be ported in the good way by the author..

yea i got morphgear to work wich was easy but as for gba games it couldnt see any roms though (used the normal extensions) i was able to play NES games...speed and all is good but since u cant configure anything or at least leave the damn screen (it depends to much on the touchscreen) its very unusefull for me...(press * u get the configure pop up, cant leave it though)
what u should do is email the author and ask if he could port it to smartphone, ..

Kickoff 3 has sound, only in-game, the menu music and stuff does not work, i tested with GENS on my pc and there it plays all the music but it looks like not all soundchips are emulated (?) right...GENS( great genesis emu for pc, open source) for example shows a lot of soundchips....and plays all sounds ..
but if SF 2 and Sonic1 have good sounds i think in the future it should be possible for a lot if not all games,
