While i cant give you a direct answer, the latest beta of maniacs autokeylock (3.9 Beta 10) has an option to auto unlock the phone on incoming calls and auto lock again afterwards.

I've not tried these options myself as i dont rearly need them, but the beta is very stable as far as i can tell, so it might be worth a look.

If you Sign up for the HTC E-Club you can still get to the files.

I've downloaded them all, edited my original post and attached them for those who dont want to sign up smile.gif

That's pretty much how I feel smile.gif

I'll third that biggrin.gif

Plus, i dont agree the screen switching is slow either, waiting a couple of seconds is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things.

hujer.. i've tried all versions of Dontforget2 upto 2.10 Beta 2 and have the same bug with my HTC S710

if vibrating or a sound is played on a notification it will play once only and dontforget just exits.

Is this bug going to be fixed for the next version?.. DontForget is great and it's just the most useful programe biggrin.gif

Connect the phone up to your laptop and let activesync start up, Select the Tools->Options Menu, in the bottom right corner of the options tab there is a button called Settings, click that nd the time sync can be disabled from there.

This is from memory so i might be slightly out on the actual menu you need to select

it was exactly 2 weeks between sending the email to HTC and my case arriving.. had they put the correct address on it (or the postcode) i would have got it quicker.

Im in the UK and the return address was aswell. It's not a bad case, it leather or some sort of fake looking leather, has a belt clip but you cant open up the keyboard while it's in it sad.gif

If i can get some decent pictures of it i'll post them.

My missing Vox case arrived in the post this morning from HTC.. The address was wrong and i'm suprised it found it's way to me.. somebody at royal mail must be pretty good to spot their mistake and get it to me.

I assume the button you mean is the one mapped to the 6 key in CommManager?..

If so, it should only be selectable when there is an active GPRS/Edge connection.

If i have the wrong function then i apologize

Never had to mess about with the registry on my S710 to get that option to work. Changed it in the menu and worked first time!

Did this happen on an E650?

I've had no problems getting my S710 to connect to my Netgear WGR614v7 (through NTL) using WPA2-PSK [AES] and it works fine.

My sister has a older DSL netgear router (using WPA) and i can connect and get an IP, but no internet connection. Had a look around at the settings and log files on her router and there's nothing i can see that should cause that. Maybe it's an issue with older netgear DSL routers. It's weird since they had multiple laptops and PC that use the same router without probs.

I'm about 5 feet away from the router so my wifi signal is near perfect huh.gif

Did you check the "Use my data plan" option?. tried every combination in the wifi options and still no joy.

only thing i can think of is the firewall on my netgear router is doin something funky to it.

I've actually set mine to not charge while connected to the PC and using mains only. If i have used the Wifi/Bluetooth it's been only for a short period of time. Supposedly these Lith-ion batterys dont have a (charge) memory but i have noticed it's taking slightly longer to charge it to 100% each time.

Perhaps it takes a few charges to get it upto full capacity?.. the signal strenth in my area is variable, sometimes i have 4 bars, sometimes a lot less. Constantly searching for a good signal cant be good for the battery, i'm keeping an eye on it and will contact HTC if it dont get any better.

I've had my S710 for about a week now and even with very little usage im having to charge it almost every day sad.gif..

Can't figure out why it's draining the battery so quick, since i have installed almost nothing since receiving it and had
very little usage for the last few days or so.
