hello
i have a orange SPV M600. problem is my speaking is not working. by that i mean i cant listen to music, i cant use ringtones or speaker phone. but i can still use the phone function. one day i was on the phone using my headset. after i unplug the headset. the speaker just gone silent. i tried to get it fixed in the mobile phone repair shop. but they said they couldnt fix it.
anybody knows how to fix it? would be much appreciated.
thanks

This happened to me too. It seems to be a common issue with HTC Prophets. I had to send mine back to HTC after a long set of phone calls back and forth with different companies arguing who had to repair it. the phone was only 2 months old.

This is actually a network service, but can be adjusted as follows:
From the 'PHONE' app select MENU|OPTIONS... then tap the 'services' tab.
Highlight 'Call Forwarding' and tap on 'GET SETTINGS'
[screen shows 'reading settings from the network']
Then you have an option for 'forward calls if no answer after ... ' and here you can enter a time interval from the drop down menu.
Click OK, and Robert should be that well known brother of your father.

Thanks, this works. My question though is how to turn off the answerphone forwarding completely? If you uncheck the checkboxes, the settings do not save.

as promised heres the picture:

I saw that too. I think it's a "cut-n-paste" error from the Sony Ericsson M600i. The device shown is definitely the M600.

Hello.

After some research I managed to remove these ugly orange style icons of Messages, Calendar, etc and get WM5 styled nice coresponding to the rest icons of start menu.

How to do it?
First, BACKUP YOUR PHONE BEFORE !!

Just import keys attached to your device registry (for example with desktop "Registry Workshop")

Restart your device and you got new proper icons.

Somehow, it did not replace the camera icon. Don`t know why.

Mancom

Does anybody know if this will work on Pocket PC Phone edition, i.e an SPV M600?

Excellent. Perfect on c600, Also great that the PC recognises the disk - then if you click deactivate, the PC goes back to Activesync mode. Very good! Smartphones have always needed this facility. It's great when you visit someone and you want to transfer a file to or from your phone but they have no card reader or Activesync - which has happened to me on various occasions. Now I can just use this!
Well done!
