Looks interesting... and its the sort of multimedia portal that nobody has quite got round to doing yet, Some of the content needs filling out... but it seems to give an easy way of watching tv/radio windows mobile devices... I'm off to play... so feel free to say hello to me too. this is quite cool, radio works but is quite limited for the UK you can listen to sunrise radio an asian station on AM.........or the christian radio station premier.............yup thats it. ok its a beta and shows some really great potential and the fact that it works on my O2 Orbit one is pretty impressive! tho havent managed to get any video over wifi yet........... |

and with this I want an honest opinion from everyone. I happen to work for tmobile in a retail store, my manager has said that it will be august he has been told for release, but i'm getting fed up waiting. Do you guys think its worth paying the extra and getting the expansys one which is the original diamond on a tmobile contract or waiting for the compact iv? this is getting quite annoying now lol For me its got to be the Compact 4 rather than the diamond 1, i really dislike the back of the diamond! 2, i can get the compact for free..... WOOOO HOOO! 3, i like the rounded shape more than the corners they tend to chip. 4, hell i can re flash the rom to get rid of the awfull pink t mob display! 5, the camera lense may be better protectd than the diamonds.................. TBA think thats all really just the asthetics.... |

I have done my daily phone call to T-Mobile on 150 and I was informed that the release date for the Compact IV is now July 24th and I can get it free on the COmbi 35 price plan that I am currently on. Can anyone call up and see if they receive the same information as I do not trust these call centre operators. just rung T mob to ask about my upgrade and apparently I will be able to get the compact 4 for free on my old relax 35 plan but I have to ring back in one week ! so it seems that they now have a price for it but I could not get the info out of the sales girl (kim ) unfortunately ..... |

It's all personal opinion of course but... 1. the touch 6 2. the kaiser 9.5 3. the vario 2 7.5 4. the trinity 7.5 cheers paul a personal opinion is exactly what I was after! and following on from your problems with dust I feel that in the contruction industry where I work as a sparky I don't think that a device that lets in dust would be suitable! so I did what I allways do and bought last years tech! the vario two. so approximately two weeks from now the kaiser will be available! sods law works out every time! lol thanks again paul! Very good! I can't really give you specific figures, but IMHO it's noticeably better than my HTC Trinity! P Hi Paul how does your trinity compare with the tytn or the kaiser? i'm seriously considering getting one of these when my contract ends as i dont need a slide out keyboard now that i've discovered happy tapping keyboard!. apart from sdhc capability the trinity is perfect fo me!, dont suppose your planning on getting rid of your Trinity any time soon???? ................. bare faced cheek mode on!!! worth a try eh! gotta love the guys at M$! ok heres the story just bought a new PC running vista home premium ok looks nice...... well i thought id sync the wizard to it, went very easily vista sets up a partnership with both the wiz and the sd card great i thought! time to sync some music, this was easy too! maybe vista has the "WOW" factor after all! so i unpluged my wiz and off to work slip on my headphones and open windows media click on albums and get the message windows cannot access your media files (or somthing like this!) so i check theyre still there yep sure enough tcpmp can still see them!!!???? whats happening is this, when vista sync's with my sd card it changes the XMEMedialibrary file in the folder MSMETADATA on the sd great if you want to use it in vista absolutely useless if you want to use it in your wiz (this may apply to all wm5 ppc/smartphones?) Luckily the solution is simple delete the msmetadata file using file manager on your ppc (havent managed to get vista to let me do this....YET!..) then take out the card, open windows media player on your wiz and install the card, win media will then detect it and create a new and working! XMEMedialibrary file and all works great........just dont use vista's windows media player to sync media file's over, havent tried it yet but i think a straight drag and drop into the sd card from vista should work fine of course you then have to update the library within win mob media player. hope this helps peeps cos it took ages to get my head around it! (ok i'm a simpleton!) |

HehHeh... Less than £25/month for Flext 25, including up to 2 gig of data suits me just fine on 'T'! Nice friendly CS staff, helpful, knowledgeable and obliging... Account problem resolved quickly and refund issued promptly and accurately, not months later after a lot of hassling... Call-backs when promised, ready transfer to technical experts when needed and never an instance of being put through to a foreign call-centre. Which, if you have a complex query, is a pointless provision of a 24/7 service when neither of you is able to fully understand the other! For those who purchase the latest phone the moment that it's available... The Early-Adopters... I have only admiration... I applaud your altruism, it isn't everyone who is willing to pay to Beta-test manufacturers products, for the long-term benefit of the rest of us... My thanks go out to you folks, it's a great service that you provide! Sp00k... PAY?????????? well no one mentioned that.............. |

I heard that it was likely to be in August now ... giving Orange time to tinker with the ROM and stuff... Desn't really matter if new or existing customer ... they don't give one preference over the other as a rule. Cheers, Dan. oooh yes they do!!!! tried to get the m600 since it was shown as in stock on the O web site and was promptly told it was only available for new customers! so then io asked about the spv m3100, this may only be for business users but according to orange business upgrades the spv m3100 is due out within the week! lets hope the guy wasn't talking out of his @rse! |
