I've been having a weird problem with my SMT5600. I've been trying to get automated profile switching working, but my profile (as listed by settings->profiles) keeps getting set back to normal. Apparently the calendar is causing this, because this is the behaviour I'm seeing: Go to profile settings, select automatic Open the calendar (opens up the default agenda view) press back/home open settings and then profiles - The profile type is switched from automatic to normal. This doesn't happen all the time, but it happens often enough (sometimes 50%, sometimes more like 20%) to be a really big problem. Anyone know of a fix for this? EDIT: Nevermind. It looks like the profile menu has an annoying difference form other menus in windows mobile: If you highlight a profile and use "Done" the highlighted profile is set as active, even if you don't use a centerpush to select it. |

QUOTE(Tech @ Apr 6 2006, 21:54) unfortunatly there isnt are we talking about the LED? we need the LED - its a service light as well as an indicator if your battery is going low or if you have bluetooth on!! very useful! The green "everything is normal" light blinking every five seconds doesn't get on your nerves? I may just black it out with a piece of tape or a marker or something. |

I just bought an SMT 5600, and the flashing indicator led in the corner of the screen has been bothering me. Is there any way (in software) to turn it off or change when it does/doesn't flash? It flashes just often enough to be really annoying. |

QUOTE(craigwalsh @ Apr 5 2006, 03:19) Need a new housing for my c500 but they are quite expensive on ebay at the mo, anyone know of anywhere that does them real cheap? Or does anyone have a busted c500 put the housing is still in good condition? If so get in touch! Cheers Guys Craig I have an SMT 5600 with some damage on the case and I can't find any replacement housings at all on ebay, although I do recall seeing a few pages back that a member of this forum sometimes put parts on ebay, perhaps he can help us out. |
