check out Fring if you want VOIP support. IM+ if you just need the messenger. Both are the best in their respective fields. |

thats because your device is not properly unlocked. try using the windows powertoy to totally unlock the device you can find it here after turning the security off soft reset and TPC will work fine |

I got my Jabra BT3030 yesterday and they sound brilliant with my Vox. the earbuds with the headset are not that great with bass but I had a pair of panasonic earbuds with me and now the combination is awesome. |

but why would you set it below 168 Mhz ? that will just hang up your device. Its not going to save your battery by that much... |

the highest stable speed that i have seen is 264Mhz on the vox. it should work fine at that speed, but i guess it overheats a little when at that speed along with wifi. so if you use your phone a lot, use a lower speed 228Mhz is absolutely safe for continuous use. |

no its not a skin actually. It just does away with the manual editing of the shortcut files (.lnk files). and you dont need to run this in startup, use this whenever you want to change the speed settings. Thats it. and yeah you need TPC running at startup, you can insert TPC at startup using this application. this is just the first version. I'll be posting changelog with newer versions. |

I have written a small program Vox-OC to assist with overclocking Vox using Tornado Power Control(TPC). No more playing around with the shortcut(.lnk) files required to change the speed. This application will allow you to easily change the speed by selecting the speed from the application. All the three states of TPC (Power_On, Power_Backlightoff, Power_UserIdle) can be tweaked using this application. This program also includes Load.exe to start TPC in hidden state, it will be placed in the "\Program Files\" directory. In addition you can now easily add or remove TPC from the startup using this application. This application depends on TPC so make sure that you have it installed on your device memory (not in storage card). Installation : 1. Install TPC on device memory.
TornadoPowerControl14.cab ( 152.01K )
Number of downloads: 4182. Install Vox OC on device memory.
VoxOC_Setup.CAB ( 48.22K )
Number of downloads: 4553. Done Now start Vox-OC from start menu and adjust the speed This application will work on all devices where TPC works. I have tested only on VOX because thats the only device I have. People with other devices, Do let me know if it works fine on your device. p.s. On uninstalling this will remove load.exe from "\Program Files\" directory, so if you want to keep using TPC without Vox-OC make sure you backup Load.exe. edit: program updated. there was a small mistake reinstall with the updated program. |

go through the must have apps for vox list its stickied, that will get you started a minimal overclock to 228Mhz is suggested I have been using a Holux M1000B bluetooth receiver with my Vox. its very sensitive and accurate I am not sure about how accurate the smallest gps would be. I use Efficasoft GPS Utilities for GPS |

on turning on the phone it does go to TPC but only momentarily and it goes away. but yes on same rare instances the TPC does stay on the screen but thats very rare there should be no need to press the exit key, it should go away automatically |

display problem is not with the rom, its with some applications that incorrectly handle the backlighting. tcpmp, core player and i think opera (not mini) also causes this problem. |

Check this out this is one of the best application ever I have seen on a smartphone device and is a charm on the vox. http://www.pointui.com/Home.aspx it has nice animations, weather everything. I tried the black theme and I would strongly suggest that. |

There are WM7 plans and you want WM6.1? Aha... When approximately should we expect WM7. I don't think it will be out before the last quarter of the year (or maybe in next year and I think WM6.1 will be out by March or max by April. we already have the Moto Q9h with WM6.1 right (boygenius) |
