I got the problem that the Iconbar plugin always displays on top of the homescreen. Say, when I have a multipage homescreen chosen (which uses the iconbar multiple times), I see the iconbar multiple times on top of the homescreen, and not where it should actually be.

Anybody knows what's up? Anybody seeing this on their 500v? Kinda bugs me.

I think looking at otherones homescreens is a good beginning - you could check my homescreens out for some basic and some more detailed Vox compatible screens.

Can you add a screenshot? Is it just full-screen?

Check out phoneAlarm on pocketmax.net (look for phoneAlarm SP [SP = Smartphone]).

QUOTE(Hatchet @ Feb 5 2008, 01:29) *
I was just wondering if I buy an "unlocked" smartphone, does that mean that I can access all the programs and applications on it like windows media and internet explorer without having mobile service?
Also, if that's a yes, would I be able to get on the internet with wifi without having any mobile service like at&t, sprint, etc.

You can use EVERY Windows Mobile Smartphone without a simcard inserted. All functions are available (except for calling etc.).

QUOTE(Hatchet @ Feb 5 2008, 01:29) *
Lastly, which smartphones actually allow access to the internet via wifi? I couldn't find any.

Well, there are quite a few. Let me recommend having a look at pdadb.net.

How should one get to that X on Standard Paul??? rolleyes.gif tongue.gif

The only way to really close apps is to 1. always use the Close function if an app has one (most 3rd party ones have one) or 2. use a taskmanager to close the apps.

Hm, well it's not visible in landscape mode, but when you scroll down too far it destroys everything.

You want it to be "not in the layout" in one mode - and that's not possible.

QUOTE(frauhottelmann @ Dec 30 2007, 18:27) *
And I don't want to use Facade!

Where's the prob?

QUOTE(frauhottelmann @ Dec 30 2007, 18:27) *
Oh a different thing how can you make the calender invisible if there is no appointment like the noevent does here:

You can't.

No way that I know of. You could use Facade though, which provides two height settings (so the screen doesn't scroll in both modes).

Nothing has been ripped off as you put it, thankyou smile.gif

So this means there's a working "Touch"-plugin DLL on the Vox?

Why are you working with a HTCHome.dll that has to be installed seperately then?
I don't wanna badmouth that homescreen - just curious to know how you are seeing this. Is it more like borrowing a dll like with the Orange plugin?

PS: Uhm... Why do you let people install the LCD plugin when you actually don't use it ... o.O

1. Do these skins support the Facade launcher?

The X Reloaded skin is the only one that supports the Facade launcher. There are quite a few icons posted over at SBSH forums (Here - scroll down to the "Additional icons" list).

QUOTE(JoshGrey @ Dec 11 2007, 20:53) *
2. How do I amend the skins to remove the need to use and install the LDC clock plugins?

Well, this would require changes in the XML files. You'd have to replace the LCD plugin with the normal time plugin.
You don't like the LCD clock? The plugin uses minimal memory, and it works perfectly. rolleyes.gif

He Prosper, it looks great, but if I install it on my Vox the Landscape is a bit distorted. The tophalf doesn't shift.
Also the numbers which indicate the SMS and e-mail count are vaguely visible and irregular. sad.gif

Hope to be of some help, and if it's my bad-> excusez moi

There's still a rotation issue with phoneAlarm. Bruce is working on this. The latest beta (can be found on pocketmax.net forums) nearly works correct - give it a try smile.gif
As for the item counters, check the phoneAlarm user config in phoneAlarm Settings (can be accessed by pressing the action button on the homescreen when no pA item is selected smile.gif) -> About -> Options -> User Config. Scroll down and change the setting "hideZeroItemCount" to 1, so the line states hideZeroItemCount=1. smile.gif

Requires Facade, phoneAlarm and Retro.

phoneAlarm in alarm state:

Although the screenshots are only Landscape, it's of course Portrait AND Landscape compatible.
Download on my page.

PS:
There'll be a skinning competition on pocketmax forums (phoneAlarm). Voting for me would be greatly appreciated smile.gif
Voting will be opened on Friday the 14th. The thread will be here: http://www.pocketmax.net/smf/index.php?board=31.0

Retro worked with WM6 right when it came out first. Working on a theme which will use Retro now, so it will become more popular wink.gif

I don't think so. You just need to set a ringtone (or the Vibrate option) in your system settings. Did you check those settings?

Check your settings. Make sure you have a system profile selected now. Also make sure you have all settings set correct (in both Sounds and Profiles options).

Make sure NOT to use phoneAlarm profiles and system profiles at once. Either use system profiles OR phoneAlarm to manage the profiles. Using both messes everything up.

The easiest way would be to get SBSH Facade here, install it onto your device, then open the "Facade Settings" application and replace the SP MRU Plugin with the Facade Launcher in the Plugins page of the Facade Settings app.
