USB Sync stopped working since i added GPRS settings, im running WM6 on a m3100 and USB sync worked fine until added the GPRs settings now it will only sync via GPRS and not USB, all i get is a connection error.

Any ideas? Thanks,

p.s. im running Vista Mobile Device Centre

Well i used the free SuperCID link and it worked so i flashed my m3100 with the HTC ROM and it works fine, it was a toss up between having WM6 or a warranty and to be honest if this phone breaks again im changing it so i thought what the hell and gave it a go. Just got to find the orange settings and im sorted.

If Orange do release a ROM in to future im guessing i can just flash that back over the top, prior to sending it back on any warranty claims? (unless it's really dead.

Ah that sucks i thought a HTC firmware would just work, starting to regret buying something thats branded by someone else! (m3100) Is it worth doing this SIM unlock thing? (Do you like the way i now what im talking about!)

Anyone tried this on a vista PC? I get something like a "error (254) cant get connect to device", even though the device is sync'ed and gone into that weird mode ready to be flashed.

QUOTE(sketchmasterx @ May 2 2007, 08:43) *
Tried updating the ROM but my phone restarts a the first step and when trying ot re-connect i get an error saying "wceusbsh.sys" is missing and it gives me the option tolocate it but i cant find it on my system.

Being a bit more awake today i ran the update again and this time found the missing file in the Active Sync\drivers folder and seems to be working ok now, just waiting for the update to finish.

Hi Folks,
The little lense cover on the camera on the back of my Orange m3100 fell out yesterday and i lost it, now the macro focus lense it exsposed and the picture looks a little out of focus. Has anyone else had this problem? And also is it worth me sending it back to Orange to get replaced, ive heard horros of phones comming back with more faults than they went away with. The phones less than 6 months old.

Cheers, Andrew.

Does this not sound a bit odd to you?

The chap says "Bluetooth AA Navigator for Windows Mobile Devices for £19.99 (£10.00 less than I paid just after Christmas)" £29.99 still sounds dam cheap to me, suprised they had any left to reduce.

Hello,
Anyone else had problems saving pictures to the MicroSd card? It looks ok and it go's throught the notions when you press the buttons but when you look at the card after taking a pic theres nothing there! I have other files stored on the card and they work fine, i can also save photos to the m3100's memory without issue, just not direct to to the MicroSD.

Any ideas? Cheers.

Personally for me the spec and the fact it's clamshell isn't enought to make up for the terrible looks!

I cant understand why smart phone manufacturers can only seem to make one good looking phone for every three rubbish ones!

(Only my opinion, i know most wont agree)

The specs I see here http://www.pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=574 suggest it has.

Mmm, they do, although not a "special Feature it does say under the spec that it has both 802.11b and g, not sure if i would trust them though.

"type in what you want in the order you want it including the .lnk if its a link to a program or just the name if its a link to a folder in the start menu"

Excuse my stupidity but where do i type the list? within HKCU/software/microsoft/shell/start menu?

also, where can i find RJV Shortcuts to have a look at it, i found a site that sells someone selling facade through google but not RJV.

Many thanks, SKetch
