Speech Recognition on Rom 1.49

I installed rom 1.49 on my MPX220 and it has the Speech Recognition future. I've never tried this feature on rom 1.43 but on rom 1.49, there is only UK English. And retard program will not recognize my US accent many times when I try to use Voice Dial to call. Is the Speech Recognition program better on 1.43 and does it have US English under language?

Besides the TCPMP, is there any software out there that plays aac/mp4 and was designed to be an audio player in mind? The reason I don't like using the TCPMP to play aac is that it's designed to be a video player. It doesn't keep the playlist window open when I open an audio file. Anyone knows what other good audio software that plays AAC/MP4?
