Have the same exact problem on xperia x1, my guess is the emulator does not support wvga yet at 800x480 is all. Hopefully we get some support soon as I wanna try it out on this. Nice work masterall, keep it up! |

thats strange that it would run slow, maybe you downloaded an older version? he did have some other versions on the website that performed differently.. Most likely it was an outdated version, I had a previous release as I just looked at a copy I had on my pc. Tried out the newest version and see I a lot of changes and improvements made. He does good work especially on his snes emulator, just havent seen him update it in a long time. Hope he continues work on it. |

here is n0p's port for warcraft II http://n0p.tonych.info/?Stratagus_%26amp%3B_Wargus and here is the youtube video of it running on my kaiser! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyI1QV8hJ6E You never cease to amaze me man lol. I tried the port back when I got the kaiser in its pre-production days and it ran abit slow on the stock rom it came with. Imma definitely try it again soon for some good old warcraft fun. |

gfDoom is probably the best doom emulator out there for pocket pc but it lacks some important features, there is no 100% working windows mobile doom emulator out there. Is anyone famaliar with the gfDoom configuration or how the Doom coding works? seems pretty confusing, and im trying to bind keys to my keyboard, but it seems i can only change the hardware keys and the onscreen keys. Hey Mikeey, I use to edit constantly the cfg file for gfdoom loooong time ago. It was around the time I had the XDA Universal and it was a freaking paaaaain in the @ss to code the keyboard man. I must've took like 2 hours straight trial and error finding the button codes for the keyboard of the device. From what I recall it went based on a # code for each button. For example if A was 225 then S would be 226. I may be wrong it couldve gone by ABC sorting instead of qwerty. I'm pretty sure I still have the .cfg on my pc so I'll take a look. I was gonna do some major testing for the Kaiser as well as I have a ATT Tilt in the mail coming soon. If you wanna try it yourself work with the Landscape theme it comes with. thats your best bet, change the orientation in the cfg for it to go with the landscape of the device and do some random #s for some of the actions, see which ones hit and miss and work from there. I'll be willing to work with ya once I get my device. Let me know what you come up with. |

Settings were quite default, just fired up TCPMP, loaded file and Benchmark. The only change I've made was choosing GDI driver instead of DirectDraw. That's it. Try switching to Raw Framebuffer instead, you should see a huge difference from GDI and DirectDraw. On a decent HQ QVGA I get close to 230%+ Whats most likely the case is that with the new co processor being the main heavyweight to decode graphics and videos tcpmp/coreplayer needs to support the qualcomm first for it to do so. It's like getting a brand new video card for your pc, you'd be able to install it and use it at first but without the drivers for it you won't be able to do any 3D games or video watching properly. It's like when the tytn came out at first, the ATI Imageon chip wasnt supported and thus the player had major problems playing videos at first, the team released a new version a few months ago and has it all ironed but you won't see tcpmp supporting the Kaiser II in that way since it's deen discontinued to work on Coreplayer. |

Getting full speed on my TYTN ppc. Marvel vs capcom runs smooth (a little too fast even) and Alien vs predator runs good as well. Nice work on the emu I guess the ATI video chip on it really helps out. |

I actually got a default.cfg to work just fine last night and figured out how to edit and create your own configuration. Heres a copy of the cfg thats used. note that should work on most phones however I can only confirm for the Tmobile Dash for now. You really gotta play with the numbers to fine the right keys. I have a simple list done at home with some of the keys #s I found but I'm at work at the moment. Maybe some one can use this as a basis on how to get things rolling. Only problem I couldnt get working was to map the Dash's enter button as the firing button. Other then that everything else worked good. Just put the .cfg file in your doom root folder and from there change the #s associated to each action to that of your phone. Keep in mind that the #s aren't exactly the button you want to use. For example if you want to have #5 on your phone to shot/fire then you wouldn't put "key_fire 5" because the numbering is different in this case as it might be actually 53, 52, or 43 that your number 5 key is really mapped to. I'll post more details later tonight guys. |

Have no results with T-mobile Dash. Can load the program fine but after choosing a game it just silently kills the app. Anyone else have luck with other qvga landscape smartphones? |

Was able to get a version of mydoomce2 running on the tmobile dash with fullscreen and very fast gameplay. But was wondering how exactly do you set up a .cfg file for the app to use for different keys. I'm very knowledgeable with the old games and smartphone but just wasn't sure how its set up for the smartphone. If anyone can post a sample .cfg file or post it in a reply here I would appreciate it guys. |

Is anyone else having problems running Doom or Duke 3d on their i300? It loads up but the screen stays black and sometimes you can hear sounds in the background like in duke but nothing shows on the screen. Anyone else have this problem? |
