People need to research the definition of monopoly. It makes no sense to call MoDaCo a monopoly because of their file sharing restrictions. |

There's a very good list of essential apps here: http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php...age=1&pp=15 As far as discussion boards go, I really like www.dashusers.com. It's new but growing really fast. |

I've been using Agile Messenger for some time now and I'm loving it. Keep in mind though that it is a data messenger, not a text messenger. So you'll need T-MobileWeb service or their Unlimited plan to be able to use it wherever there are no Wi-Fi coverage. |

So, are there any working emulators out there for the Dash? I have been lurking on qusers.com and saw that a lot of people have been getting NES, SNES, and GB emulators to work well with their Q but I haven't been able to get it working on the Dash. Any ideas? http://www.qusers.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=13 |

Well, I know that I am not the only one that is upset with the WM5.0 alarm feature. I used the alarm on my Razr religiously and found it quite easy to set multiple alarms. Something that I am really interested in is something with a SNOOZE option. As a college student I rely extensively on snoozing to get started with my days. Thanks in advance... |

Well, I am sure that some people out there might have a similar issue with their device. I have finally been able to setup my e-mail accounts to work properly. I have it turned on to connect to "The Internet" (Wi-Fi on the Dash) every 15 minutes to check for new email. However, when I have the Wi-Fi feature turned off, it won't do it; which is what I want it to do. But when I have it connected to the laptop via USB to charge, it checks for the e-mail. This is pointless as I am already receiving the e-mails on my laptop. Is there a way that I can have it not use the USB to check for e-mails? I heard in another forum that I can set ActiveSync to "Work" which might resolve the problem. Anyone know how I can do that? Finally, if that doesn't work, what e-mail applications do you guys recommend? I have my Outlook on my laptop setup so that I receive e-mails from both my account into a single Inbox and I have the option of choosing what account I want to send from. Something like that for the Q/Dash would be very useful. Oh, and one more thing. Is there a way to have the Q/Dash delete the messages from the server when deleting from the handheld? I would like to be able to filter my messages when receiving them on the handheld so that I don't have to re-read them on my laptop when I get home. If there isn't a setting for it, is there a program that offers this option? Thanks in advance... |

Hello guys, I have been searching around for applications that can automatically retrieve bank account information online, but haven't found anything that might be compatible with the Dash. I used to use SplashMoney with my previous PDA (Sony PEG-UX50) and I loved it. It did exactly what I wanted. I was hoping there would be a similar program for WM5.0 out there. It would be neat to have it display your account balance on the Home Screen also. Thanks in advance... |

Can you guys be a little more specific on how to install it? Where do I put the .CAB file? I tired putting it on the Windows folder and just running the .CAB and it installed and all but I don't see the picture; I still see the T-Mobile logo. [Edit] Combined duplicate posts |

There is already an option for it in the Settings. It lets you enable/disable it. Adjust speed and sensitivity as well. It also lets you have it adjust system and phone volume. |

Well, I am sure this is a common question with any new phone. I have been trying to transfer some of the applications such as Pocket Plus, MS Streets, etc. from my sister's PPC and I have been unable to do so due to incompatibility. What software do you guys recommend that is compatible for the Dash? I would like an e-mail software that works over Wi-Fi rather than T-Zones. I do not have the data service from T-Mobile but am constantly covered by Wi-Fi from my school. In addition, I would like something that would keep my finances in check. I had a software called SplashMoney for the Palm that would synchronize with my bank account everytime I AutoSynched so that my account would automatically be updated. Anything like that for the Dash? Finally, I am wondering if there is a MS Streets program for the Dash? As a new resident of Boston, I am constantly getting lost in this web of streets. Something to guide me from A to B would be essential. Thanks again guys... |

Well, I have gotten the Dash about 3 days ago and I have tried tweaking it to my liking here and there. As a previous Palm user, I am nostalgic of the Palm's easy interface in comparison to the WM's. Now, I am wondering if anyone could help me located the speed dial function. I have that setup in my Razr and I use it extensively. Thanks in advance... |
