For the Belgian (Flamisch) people who bought a HTC S710 azerty I would like to add the following:

I got the language pack from this site.
I also downloaded the mobile registry editor from this site.
the keyboard dlls were not removed by the isntallation of the language pack, so I didn't have to take care of this anymore, the dll was still on the device
Same for the eT9.Vox.040C.kmap.txt file which stands for the French azerty keyboard mapping

I connected the HTC S710 with activesync and launched the mobile registry editor (be carefull to launch form a local drive, otherwise it will not work, not over a unc path anyway)

in [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\IME\KeyboardLayouDlls] I added
"0000070C"="eT9.Vox.040C.kmap.txt"

and in [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9\IME\LanguageKeyboardIDMapping] I changed the key

Hi there, because I had to look a very long time to solve this problem myself I really want to share this topic with all of you. I'm sure there are other people who are experiencing the same problem. I found a thread on google which mentioned something about Jetware as a solution for his TYTN/AUDI carkit/bluetooth disconnections. So I went on the website http://www.jetwaremobile.com and downloaded the windows mobile 5 version (jetware 1.3) on my pc and afterwards i copied the cab file on the Mteor device. Then I opened the file manager on the mobile device and installed the cab file. I launched it and I tested the connection with the carkit several times. The connections stays stabile !! Finally.

The good news is that you don't have to buy the software right away, you can first test it for a month, so what's the harm, go and give it a try.

I have been looking for some time now on this forum, but didn't find any topic on the question I have, so here comes my question:

Does someone have an idea of the best paramters for a 3gp movie to play on the 8300 ? I have a few tools i use to convert avi files to 3gp but I have to choose a lot of parameters like;

framerate (fps) waht lowest framerate can I use and still gives a good result ?
What resolution is best ? 352 x 288 and what video aspect is best 11:9 or 3:4 or....
What bitrate is best ? 96kbps ?
For the audio quality is not that important but loudness is ? Which settings do I use here ?

Stereo or mono , 1 or 2 channels
sample frequence 44100 ?
bitrate 56bps

did anyone find the best settings for this smartphone ?

I have a 2 gB SD card in it and I like to watch movies on my device, that is why i pose this question.
