it is good to see good news btw, ~2 yrs ago i was writing about "white box" silent hill problem - interesting, that i found same thing with pc emu, someone told this: QUOTE Enable Mask Bit and it should fix the problem with white boxes. so, my question is simple - what's with 0.10 and silent hill gameplay? |

is the blackjack II considered a smartphone? i have been yet to install either quake or duke nukem on my phone and have been getting very limited feedback from the community. most duke nukem installation tutorials end with running some .exe file to install. however all these .exe files recieve errors on my computer, and windows mobile 6 can't execute these types of files. is it that hard to create a .cab file for easy access. i have doom on my phone with a .cab extension and it installed and worked perfect with two clicks of my mouse. i would apprecate some direct feedback and im sure im not the only one trying to install one of these games on a windows mobile 6 phone. im willing to give my email and other contact information for support. very limited...rofl. make 312 posts like this one to prevent limitations. surely will help. |

super metroid you cannot have auto frameskip turned on. then it should work. my girlfriend has a pantech duo and I'm going to install pocketSnes on it tomorrow. I'm just pissed that her Pantech is faster than my tilt! QUOTE my tilt oh, is it ego or what. you are funny guy, mikeeey, years are passin by, and you(and whole mass of other forum users) still cannot imagine, that these trendy machines usually suxx.. if it is not working, OR working bad, usually your machine suxx, and/or your knowledge is too low. emus are ok novadays, yet some regions are still OUT of ppc/sm world. so imagine this, newbs, wealthy guys at last. cheap, old machine will kill your supernew/trendy s*** in emus, so go for it and stop moan. there are many GOOD emus for good machines, so just stop this mess. cant you see regress or what. and yes, i WANT ps3 emu for my fockin timex watch, yeah, right. 3 yrs ago i had, for <75$, 300 mhz/400 mhz(XSCALE), 64 mb mem, wm03 machine, and i had psnes with full, 44.1 khz, max quality sound in chrono trigger(try this on yer machines)..beat this with your trendy, expensive machine. greetz for n0p...btw. |

Hello... I've installed pocket snes 1.53 on my moto q. Everything seems to be working just fine, sound and graphics. I'm playing chrono trigger. No matter how I try and configure my buttons, my left and right moves are reversed. Any ideas? so, if you set left as right, and right as left, it is still not as you want it to be? btw, there are 5-10 versions of psnes and OTHER ones. why the hell you do not want to try ALL of these. do not stick to modaco... |

Well, first of all - masterall's/omap/SP ports of psnes ARE not first ones for NORMAL, oldstyle PPC's there were far better ports of predecessor. in case of xscale optimised n0p's port i just can say: chrono trigger gameplay is perfect with transparency, sound maxxed on @ ~400 mhz..xscale(not trendy samsungs, not slow omaps...just old ppc). so hail to new wonderful machines... n0p port is useless for samsung and omap cpus(it will be S_L_O_W).. i can recommend earthbound fight scenes as perfect transparency/snes_effects tests - with n0p port nad masterall's one(do not look at performance). |

BTW, if you know of a "Alive" forum for PPC, then post a link erm, i cannot post all links that i have.. but this is example: http://forum.xda-developers.com/ - very good one, developers and fanatics area, but goddamn iphone trends are irritating there lately... this site gave me methods for making my own ROMs to Wizard outperforming anything, that you may see in "clean" machine. and two polish ones that i am using: http://forum.mobione.pl/ - i am moderator there... http://pdaclub.pl/forum/index.php - it is good polish forum there are russian fora's, very good ones...cannot give a links(heh).. aximsite is good one too... trust me, i doubt, that micropc's will kill ppc world - phonepc's are much more than phones, less than micropc's, tho. smaller, more mobile, wifi,bt enabled devices are a must, i hope... one more thing: i do not like smartphones, as these are NOT PPCs at all. btw, i have over 8 thousands links related to ppc world...name me a hobby-ist. btw, look there... --> pdadb.net ahh i forgot - psp has ability to launch psx games natively..i can imagine, that it is fullspeed, perfect thing. |

uh,interesting POV , imo. emuscene IS dead on ppc, BUT PPC is not(now..). dead. you must be nuts, if you think that micropc is going to be only future lol. it is too expensive, its batteries are too weak.. optimal choice seems to be pspslim at this moment, what you think(besides, that my english is terrible..)? btw, this forum "may" look like dead lol ,but believe me, there are moar forums, alive...still alive. |

QUOTE you should ALWAYS check out my Bibles and guides - I've thoroughly answered your Q in the MIDlet Bible (a sticky thread) at http://www.modaco.com/content/smartphone-g...a-midlet-bible/ well... i think we just need method for midlet edit.. many of good games are not using our buttons properly - i am sure, that there are editors to change these... short info like this one: QUOTE Furthermore, you’ll surely be faced control problems. Depending on the MIDlet manager you use AND the game you’re trying to run, you will face sometimes severe control problems. Either the two softkeys won’t work (not even on Pocket PC’s, where you can also try to use the stylus to “press” them) or the D-pad / Action button, or both. Note that there are some solutions to this problem (particularly if you have a Smartphone (or an, in this regard, similar Pocket PC phone like the Asus A525) with a hardware phonepad). I’ve elaborated on these questions in a separate article HERE (cross-posted to PPCT, AximSite, XDA-Developers - 1, XDA-Developers - 2, XDA-Developers - 3, FirstLoox, BrightHand, HowardForums, SPT, MoDaCo, PocketGamer.org, PocketGaming.de). is just not enough... (well i think i need to read these,tho..). |
