Can somebody try opentyrian on his mobile ?
It's a port from sweetlilmre. I think it should also work on a mobile.

It is a great shump from the past.

don't give away the source code before somebody ports sega cd / svp to ppc lol, btw i noticed that superside kicks is slower in this version?

The sourcecode for sega cd is here and also the .exe for the Gizmondo. Picodrive/Sega CD is fullspeed on the Gizmondo. Maybe someone can try the Gizmond.exe on the mobile.
Or maybe you can ask Notaz or Masterall to make a mobile port with sega cd. I am sure that Masterall and Notaz share his work on the 68k/sh2 code for arm prozessors.

Hmm, there is no download for the sourcecode. It would be nice if he will make it public, because ,I have the little hope
that Notaz! one of the best coder for arm gadgets like Gp32 and Gizmondo could make maybe a proper working version for the Gizmondo.

---

I have problems with the new 0.14 version. The gamelist is not correct on my Gizmondo. It shows me the gamefiles double or more with the same name.

@Masterall,

Hi Masterall, thanks for all you hard work.

It looks like that the FBA code and drivers that you have written are perform very well on the ARM based mobile and handhelds.
Do you think it is also possible to make some more drivers for Finalburn ? I ask because there are so much more drivers on FBA for older Games
which don't use/need so much memory.(and the older Games are so funny too)

Thanks for all.

Hi, I have a Gizmondo, It is based on a Windows CE 4.2 has an arm 400Mhz with 64 MB Ram.

My problem is that caches with more than 26MB are not working. Does somebody has an Idea or the same problems ?
I thought with the cashes it is possible to run games that are bigger than the work ram?
I have allready created caches with the PC version but they are not working dry.gif
How much free mem must I have ?

Hope somebody can help

Cool Masterall,

with this update is the sound in Ghostpilot fixed and some more Games are working now.
Good work. I need more time for testing all games.
I have a question about the cache. I can not run cached Games wich are bigger than 25 Megabytes on my Gizmondo. PGM Games have over 40 Megabytes.
I thought with the cache i can play bigger games, but this is not possible. Is that correct ?
The Gizmondo has only 64 Megabyte Ram. After running the OS i have only~ 32 Megaybyte free.
I have also the problem that the Ingame menu is broken after i changed the keysetings but this a problem that is Gizmond related because its not a Mobile and not a real Pocket PC. Do you think you can make a proper port for the Gizmondo ?
Great work Masterall at all. weiter so.

Jens

update:
Some CPS1 Games are not running correct
Muscle Bomber- the body explosion --- i hear sound but the display is dark
Muscle Bomber Duo-heat up warriors --- display is dark
Muscle Bomber Duo-ultimate team battle --- display is dark

CPS2 Game Progear --- i hear sound but the display is dark

I got the same bios-roms from a different page and they work fine... :-)

So far i got Knights of Valor to work...

PhotoY2K only worked parially and Martial Masters and Demon Front dont show up in the list when i scan.

Demon Front is not emulated, because it is protected .It is also not working on Mame and Nebula.

Yes, the screen recording function is built into our game engine, but just for PC version. I can play it smoothly while recording the avi smile.gif .
All the PPC, Smartphone and PC vers is the same in gameplay, so the replay files can interchange between different platform.

hi, jens.l, I send you a message, I'll port the game to Gizmondo, if you help me by runing the test ver on your device, thank you.

yes I can start the game, but the screensize is not correct. The Gizmondo has a resolution :320x240x16
I know it is a vertical shooter but that is not the problem, i can turn the Gizmondo 90 degrees. My problem is that i can not
switch the resolution to Vertical, so i can see only 2/3 from the game.

I have asked Frank Weseloh from www.Wincesoft.de to integrate the Gizmondo into his tool so that i can maybe manipulate the gapi gx.dll.

By the way is it possible to make games for the Gizmondo ? or is it possible to integrate code so that it can run also with your code.
I know it is a obsolete Handheld. But it has some nice features.

Hi Masterall great work. The CPS1 and CPS2 and Neogeo are runnig well. You have fixed the roms wich has had a black screen and all the other Games wich was reseting after a time?

Also some Cave Games are running well, but some Games ,Sailor Moon for example creating a cache wich is over 26MB.After creating i get
the fault message with the memory is not enough. Is it possible to make a smaller cach ? Every Game over 24 MB makes trouble on my Gizmondo.

With best regards

Hope he will also try to port the raine taito drivers to finalburn if possible, because the games need not so much program memory.

Masterall, do you think it is possible to integrate also the Taito drivers into your 68k and z80 core ?

Nearly all CPS1 and CPS2 games are working. Also the Neogeo Games with less than 25 Megabytes
are working well. But some Games are resets itself after 10 seconds on version 0.009 only with cache created games. On version 0.007 was the game ok.
Maybe it is solved with version 0.010.
Do you plan a bluetooth option in the the far far future, so that we can play together ? rolleyes.gif
Are you planning to use open GL ES standards for future projects to accelerate the graphics ?

If i have created the caches, will there be an option to delete the zipped rom files ?
So that the emu uses only the cached files. Or must we have both files for a working Game.

Thanks for all
Jens.l

I can't wait to try the new Finalburn 0.010 on my Gizmondo.

Cool Masterall,

thanks for his great emu. My Gizmondo is happy with you. It looks like that you have found a way to emulate
the 68000 and z80 core very well.
How has you programmed this emulator ??? in Arm assembler or C++. Is it posssible to share your code to some Gizmondo coder ?
Do you think it is possible to make a raine emu port to arm ??? http://www.rainemu.com/ if you found a little time.

Thanks
