Hi Everyone,

I bought the lobster around october and for what it lacks in rugged good looks you be hard pressed to find a decent portable dab radio at twice the price, and you get all the other great features too. So all told i am a big fan of the phone and its a shame they are discontinuing the service.

But my question is this. If i were to have a copy of wm6 is there a way of upgrading the lobster to the new operating system or is this impossible? Was waiting for htc to release details of an update but i had the feeling it would be passed by and it there is no chance of this happening now.

Would appreciate any info on this or tell me im living in a dream land :-)

With the virgin lobster now retailing at just £40 or less has anyone found a reasonably priced unlock service that doesnt cost half as much or more than the phone.

the cheapest i have found so far is £20. any advances on that and links please if you have them?

Had a look on the site and under the models listed there is no mention of this device. Would be better if they offered you an option of phones they unlock BEFORE taking your money i feel ?

I am also looking for a cheap and reliable unlock for the lobster currently best i found is 20 quid which is almost as much as you can currently buy it for anyway

I have been using BT Audio to stream music to my bluetooth headset doesnt seem to have mcuh of a memory footprint and so leaves quite a lot of memory to play with and is simple to use. Does anyone else use this or offer any advantages to using the tornado instead ?

Hi Everyone,

hope someone can help as virgin seem lost :-( i have had the phone for two weeks and everything fine til i did a factory reset due to connectivity problems (which are now sorted). unfortunately i cant get tv and it wont download a license. It takes me to the subscription page and shows that i am subscribed to all of the channels for the next three months. Apparently it should download for me a new license but it just stops at the page with no further option. Has anyone else had this problem or know of a fix i would really appreciate it.

apart from that seriously great phone and the fact you can now pick them up for less than £70 quid is amazing!
