your best bet is to cut the ear buds off of the original moto stereo headset and solder in the sony ones...dont try to put the mic from the moto on the sony wires...too much hassles and trouble...follow mpx200.org instructions...they work pretty well. |

I think you know what, some genius programmers amongs us needs to create a Symbian emulator for games on our smartphones! I think it would be possible. And it would really piss the symbian community up! lol  |

well midnight, i didnt mean to pick on your home screens. i think theyre top of the line designs. i love them. but i read in couple of other threads that the led pluggin does it and someone also said that one of your screens have led pluggins and they cause the problem....I personally think its the windows 2002 smartphone software on the phone... sorry, didnt mean to blame nothin on u. mc |

I have this problem as well. i havent hard resetted my phone yet...but what works so far is, i dial voicemail and turn the speaker phone on and hang up the voicemail call...this usually fixes it, but its temporary. it goes back to the low sound problem....did the hard reset fix the problem? I did installed some of Midnights home screens but i uninstalled most of his stuff and it still does it...i dont know wht it is...i have no led pluggins installed. not that i know of.
thanks mc |

QUOTE Hey, there's a guy on Ebay selling a FW update for the MPx200 that makes it tri-band. I kind of figured that the AT&T phone had it disabled via software. It's a Motorola FW update.
anyone have this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=35209 -Mc Hello McHale, There is only one generic firmware released by motorola for this phone so far in the US. This guy is ripping people off by selling them what you can get for free...if you are interested in the generic firmware which has the triband capabilities....go to EDIT awarner link removed please read site rules, also quote taken from site in question QUOTE 1 - Please do not post this link on other forums go in the Forum section and read the Firmware forum in it....i suggest you read the whole thread about this before flashing your phone with it... good luck..
