First of all the hardware can cope with WM 6.1. However there is a warranty issue. HTC and T-Mobile only offer WM6 as an upgrade voor de Hermes devices. If you flash another Rom the warranty is automatically void. There are a number of sites out there with cooked Roms. Please be aware of the risks of flashing a cooked Rom. |

Current Device: HTC TyTN with the original Rom since it is going back for repairs under warranty. And a Nokia E51 from work. Next Device: Either the SE xperia of Touch HD Kinda hoping the Touch HD Pro will come because I really like my keyboard. |

It is a hardware problem. Try to get it fixed under warranty. |

I have a meet n greet with some people from HTC tomorrow. I have some questions myself about the shift and possibly a new shift. |

I think the only way to do this is to decrease the security setting on your router, connect your phone, add IP-adress to security filter and raise the security settings again. |

Hi folks, Jeff from Microsoft here (any Mobians on the thread will know me from Amsterdam and a few other events) – first of all, sorry for taking so long to get back to you; we needed to do some investigation as Windows Mobile users were not supposed to get that message. Here’s what happened: This week we rolled out a direct-to-consumer billing service for the Windows Live client on Nokia S60 in the UK and Sweden. Although we are considering doing the same at a future time for Windows Mobile, this has not been implemented – however, something happened and many of you saw a trial message on Windows Mobile devices. Windows Mobile customers shouldn’t have received any notifications of a 30-day trial and we are working as quickly as possible to correct this. As you may know, we offer Messenger services through mobile operators on lots of handsets, not just Windows Mobile. Traditionally, customers have been billed by their mobile operators for many of these services, either directly or through their data package. I find it a bit distressing that you are planning on billing us in the future for these services. There is a reason why we purchase WM phones and not Symbian. Messenger is a major reason for a lot of users. For me there are more but you might lose customers this way. Especially with free alternatives out there. Just my two cents. |

What other programs do you have on your device. It looks like a program is blocking everything. You could try to uninstall other software and see what happens. If all fails then hard reset will be your only option.... |

I think the vodafone versions are locked. You can also check xda-developers.com for a solution. |

If you are used to the BB keyboard then maybe the Treo 750 will be good for you. It is now available with Wm6 Pro. Otherwise I would recommend a device with a full keyboard like the: HTC TyTN and TyTN II, Toshiba Portege 900 or the new Samsung. |

I've heard more people reporting problems on their camera. Those guys have sent them in for warrarntyrepair. I think that is the only way to get it fixed. |

This seems to me as a phone that came out too early. They just wanted to please the crowd that got the 710 but would like more speed from their phone. Maybe if they just thought it out a bit more gps would have been enabled and would have gotten more customers to this phone I think. |

Me neither. I hate these clogged up and simlocked devices. I allways go to independent retailer. As of now I got a TyTN with T-mobile. And not the usual MDA crap. |
