Hi again
I have a SPV unlocked using a O2 payg sim card. The sim card HAS been set up to use GPRS. And i have followed to the letter the internet/gprs settings from the GPRS settings repository. Unfortunatley for me i can connect to the internet/msn via WAP but not GPRS. I DO have the little G in thebox at the top of my screen. Every time i try to connect via GPRS I get an ERROR message "Unable to connect. Verify network coverage and try again" Has anyone else had this problem and is there an easy fix, I can't beleive that every where i have tried to connect is not in O2's network range Thanks in advance R@TTY |

Hi I've just tried doing a hard reset, but after going to the clear ISPM i then doing this bit:
"When it has finished doing this (it takes a while), it will say PASSED. Press the left direction pad twice and choose 3 to close the diagostics. " Nothing happens and it doesn't get to the next bit: . On the three colour 'Canary PV' screen, hold the power button down. This will re-start the phone with the Orange Sunset screen. I also do not have any titles on that menu screen just a column of numbers going down the left hand side of the screen. All The Best RATTY |

Hi all
Just tried to install a skins pack from the dloads section on coolsmartphone the CS homescreen one (major CS fan) It all seemed to install ok, but then just as i was think this is to good to be true. "ERROR Can't fine "Home"(or one of its components). make sure the path or file name are correct and that all the required libaries are available" Came along and freaked me out, anyone come across this and know a way out of it. Thanks Will
But i have contacted O2 and my sim card has been set up for GPRS. I seem to get a few differnet error messages coming up like 'login information incorrect' or 'network error' i have had the phone working on an Orange card, but just cant work out the O2 bit. Thats why i was hoping for a step by step guide into setting up from scratch. Thanks RATTY |

Hi all
I have a SPV (mk1) unlocked to O2(payg) it is on the 1.6 os. But i'm currently not able to use GPRS or MMS, i have created new connections as in these forums and copied the settings from the repository section in this forum. But alas still no connection, I know its me and not the phone or sim card as i do get the little box with 'G' in it. I just expect its something i'm doing wrong. is there or has someone got time to write me an idiots guide to this, as if starting from scratch. Thanks in advance. an idiot eager to learn :? RATTY |
