Grrr, not much use having a headphone adapter if it makes the volume quieter. |

Does anyone like me believe that you shouldn't have to be employing 'homebrew' fixes for a top of the range £400+ handset!!!??? Paul: Have you heard anything from HTC on the matter? |

Definitely. I was condsidering a Diamond instead of a certain other mobile device when I saw the specs. I'd consider it again if this was sorted. If anyone could take some more pics with the cover off I'd appreciate it! |

Could someone answer this for me? I was dissapointed with samples from the camera, but it appears the lens is actually not to blame, rather the low quality bit of plastic over the top! See discussion here: Howard forums discussion is this the case please? Can anyone have a look? thanks! M |

Thanks Paul... would love to see the camera pics, and also a video of the faster touchflo... really didn't like the lag in the coolsmartphone vids. |

I too was considering the touch, but the more responsive touch screen on the iphone has sold it to me pretty much. Almost all of the videos i've seen have lag, which would irritate the crap out of me. The plethora of really great games that are coming out on the iPhone too.. (super monkey ball!!!) is too good to resist I reckon. I stll think the Diamond is by far the best Winmo device out there, and i'm sure it'll sell truckloads. horses for courses ennit |

I'm warming considerable to the diamond, but I think i'm going to wait for the alleged iPhone announcement on the 9th before I vote with my wallet! |

All, not sure this is the right place for this, but wondered if you fine fellows could help... basically a mate of mine wants to sell his Kaiser, but it's really quite scratched. It has superficial damage to the case, and a small crack on the camera lense. My question is two fold: 1) is there any way of replacing the case? (the screen is fine, as it's had a screen protector fitted from day 1) 2) if not, any ideas what sort of price I should pitch it at on Ebay / whatever? I mean, what do you condider a fair price. It's working perfectly.. just not terribly pretty thanks chaps M |

Well my iPhone was free with a 12 month contract Got an N95, sold it for £200 which was what the iPhone cost me. Now of course, that was the good old days when the yanks would sell them to cash wielding brits! Anyway, you can still pick them up here for £269 and unlock them yourself. |

I was VERY disappointed with the Kaiser. It really needs a better res screen, 320x240 is not enough for web surfing, no matter how smart the browser. Add on a fiddly keyboard, lack of 3d hardware, and the speed (didn't think it was very fast at all tbh). Plus, 3.2mp camera? Don't make me laugh. My iPhone takes better pictures than my mate's Kaiser! (the iPhone camera is actually pretty good considering it has no AF / Flash) Didn't try the video recording, but if it's anything like other winmo phones, that's not saying a lot. Don't get me wrong, i'm not Winmo bashing, I would LOVE a kaiser with a 640x480 screen, decent cam with video capture, would be amazing Just frustrated with the lack of progress. Let's hope Sony Ericsson change that later in the year |

it's not just about the ipod functionality. The iPhone shines for me as the best web device out there. WinMO in comparison still WAY behind, although maybe the new Opera on a VGA device might match it. The screen res on the iPhone is amazing for web surfing too, as is the Nokia E90 to be fair. Most web pages are fine on Edge anyhow, but 3g would be great for higher bandwidth sites, for youtube and the like. The last thing I bought my iPhone for was to 'look cool'. I wanted one because it's the best device out there for me and does what I want better than any other handset! crazy notion huh |

Well jobs said that they'd look at it when the chips got more power efficient, so maybe that's happening, who knows. Everyone I know has an email address Seriously, I don't care about MMS support. I never used it, I never will. For everone else, it's bound to be added very soon. You can already receive them. |

You can still take a picture and email it to them from your iPhone... assuming you have wi-fi or a data connection that doesn't cost the earth of course. |

It's a free upgrade for the iPhone at least. Apple wanna flog you the games, so it's in their interests. 3g model will be here this year, no doubt. |

The nice thing about an iPhone is you get to vote with your wallet again and again and again. *sigh* there's always one isn't there! I actually made a profit switching from my N95 to my iPhone. Don't make the mistake that we're all foolish enough to line o2's pockets. |

Bah. If it's going to tear me away from my iPhone, it's going to have to be VGA AND fast. Until then, I'm voting with my wallet. |
