There was no problem with the hardware of my SPV. I wonder if it could be software... Does anyone know where I might find the firmware and all that good stuff to replace? |

I have no insurance on the phone because I imported it to the USA. I have had 10s of phones and never once have I had a key fail. I am convinced I can fix it somehow. |

I have an Orange SPV. The button in the top left hand corner just under the screen and the 0 are not working. Once in a while they start working again. I am convinced its not a software issue. Any ideas? |

I have been waiting for over a year. They keep getting delayed and will not make it to the US, so I got an SPV. |

The camera won't ever have a flash... it would eat the battery alive. Or do you mean Macromedia Flash? God I have no life. Well just right now anyways. Friday is my night! |

Um... Yeah. I am glad I don't smoke... I would hate to be using a fuel cell battery and and ash to fall on it while talking. I am off topic as the rest of you are. Show us the pics or tell us you killed it already? |

That would not be very logical, unless they overproduced the SPV, in which case thye should not be making an SPVx. They would make more money by pushing the SPV aside. |

Reguarding a demo, if we released a demo it could easily be turned into a full version, therefore it is unlikly we will release one.
Our website is http://www.rcam.ws We are developing for the Smartphone not the PPC. We have no plans for a Pocket PC version at this time. We are a company who produces commercial titiles unlike the makers of PocketQuake. Personally I do not think we could do this if it were not for the talented people who made PocketQuake. On the same note the source of our game will be closed. Many of you have told me that we can't do this because the engine is under GPL, we have always been aware this and with the proper agreement, with ID, the source can be closed. Thanks, Ryan M. I am sure Florin really has linux running. Its pointless for now, but he has never mislead us and there is no reason for him to waste his time pretending he has done it. |

You guys must realize that there is not much that can be done to increase speed. Spacemonkey is doing his best and does well. Fumaras overclocking is not the answer, the battery dies fast enough. What we have to do is instead of emulating the processer the SNES uses, we have to translate the machine code on the fly from the SNES processer instructions to STONGARM instructions. Then we will be able to run at full speed just as the Palm emus do. |

I am happy with my SPV. I don't think I want a flip phone like this. The only real advantages are:
* Built-In Camera * Caller-ID on the outside Disadvantages: - Battery Life - You have to flip it open, over time it would break. - Camera Res |

My company RCAM is in development of Quake Unlimited for the Smartphone platform. We have not yet anounced a release date. Of cource it will be soon. We will not be releasing an Alpha to anyone because it is a commercial distrobution, therefore certified. I will let this fourm know when we began sales of the game. It will be avalible through at least one online vender for download.

I was going to cut mine and add some better ear pieces as well, but I did not want to mess anything up. Now that I see others are doing it I feel better about it. Its a great idea! |
