Salling Clicker is the best, in my opinion. Works via bluetooth and Wifi, can control (out-of-the-box) windows media player, powerpoint, etc. but on the forum you can find scripts for bsplayer, mediamonkey, winamp etc. etc. Cheers, AleM2k5. |

hello all, my first posting. I have this problem, have there been any other developments? It's happened once or twice before, and all I did to remedy it was turn it off etc. But now it just won't send at all, the only solution being moving it manually into the outbox (hardly practical...) any offers?? sorry for "bumping".....but I still haven't find any solution for this and it's very annoying.... Thanks, AleM2k. |

I switched the GSM Service as well but without luck... The annoying problem still appears once in a while..... Any other suggestion? Thx and regards, AleM2k. Mine was set to GSM Preferred as well. Changed to GSM and we'll see how we got. Doesn't happen very often so guess unless I remember to post back, we won't know if it's fixed. Thanks, Rob. |

Hi, I know that the topic has been discussed several times, but I'm not able to find out a solution. I've, in my office, a wireless connection that works for my laptop. I'm actually posting here using the wireless connection.... For reasons I don't understand, it doesn't work for my HTC S710. The ssid is not broadcasted, so even with my laptop I had to manually configure it, and it immediately worked flawlessly. I did the same on the phone. I inserted the SSID (it contains a dot in the name, should this make any difference), the network type (Internet), the authentication type (WPA-PSK) and the encryption (TKIP), the network key and index (1). Tried both saying that the network is hidden or not. The problem I've is that the network now appears in the WIFI page (list of connections) but it seems not reachable (has the red X on top). If I choose to "connect", it does nothing. Another strange thing I noticed, is that in the last page of the "new WIFI connection wizard" it's automatically checked the IEEE 802.1x control, even if the manually deselect it, the next time I check it is checked again. This is not true on my laptop, where the "authentication tab" in the network properties is grayed out (and not selected, btw). Just to complete the description, the phone works correctly in my home network (where the SSID is broadcasted and the authentication type is WEP). Can anyone help here? Sorry for the length of the post... Regards, AleM2k. |

Same problem here. It happens only sometimes, I wasn't able to understand the circumstances under which it happens. Anyway, it's very annoying. Another trick I've found is to save the msg in the draft folder, then go inside this folder and "move" the message to the "Outbox" folder. This will send the message immediately, without the need for restarting the phone. Hope it saves you some time, while we find out a better solution (possibly a fix?!?!?). Bye and regards, AleM2k. HTC S710 (Vodofone branded) - sometimes I can't use the SEND button after composing a text message. Just does nothing at all. Everything else is working. I can save to draft folder, power down and back up and then send but darn annoying. Any ideas? Thanks, Rob. |
