Really? Mine is playing all videos with lag.. audio AND video lag.. Wether its original size .avi's or resized to 320x240 to make it easier to play for the phone.

Anyone know how you can play .flv's from the memory card?

I'm also using Coreplayer which is playing everything perfect smile.gif

I've got a question about the Diamond's Video playback abilities, wondering if some owners can help me with...

1/ Does Opera Mobile allow you to play embedded flash video? such as gametrailers, bbc iplayer
2/ Can I stream files to the Diamond from my mediaserver through UPnP?
3/ does the Diamond have enough horsepower to render "normal" divx/xvid videos without having to convert them?

TIA!

1, I dont know
2, It working fine with my orb server
3, YES I'm finding its playing anything I throw at it perfectly wink.gif

You don't need to "find" the file to change the background. There are other ways. Simply go to settings on TF3D tab (just before "programs") and the third setting is "Wallpaper - Home Wallpaper"

Sorry I didnt make myself clear, I meant the wallpapers on ALL the tabs wink.gif

I'm really shocked so many people are putting a downer on this phone.
I thought we were going to have till 2009 and WinMo 7 to get a modern interface on Winmo handset.
Just think this is just the entry level version, all the new HTC Winmo phones will have this Gui and I'm sure updated versions of it.
So when the replacements for Touch and PDA and Smartphones series are released there will be a varity of options and specs.

I've had Winmo phones since the orignal SPV i think this will be the first time ill be able show my mates that i have cool phone instead of telling i have it because
i need for work.

Here here I'm thinking the very same!

@kermaphone
Just download attachment thats with THIS post. Install the CAB file on your phone then drag (and replace) the file called "dx_osx3.home.xml" with the one in the rar file and that should be it.... however you should remember to change the shortcuts to programs you wish to use.

e.g. -

I hope this helps smile.gif

I agree with you midnight it doesn’t make sense however I am surprised that moto have chose to discontinue with a clamshell smartphone after the success of the mpx200??! What I am asking myself is does moto have a history of surprising us with new handsets or is every handset they have released been announced well in advance?
