No real logic to it in my mind but how about trying to boot without the sd card/sim to see if that has any effect? Turn it off, remove battery. Wait 10 mins to allow it to clear out the memory. Put battery in, power it on and see if it boots up OK. tried both these, to no success! really dont wanna hard reset!!! if worst comes to worse and i have to would any1 suggest 6.1 ROM???? |

Yesterday i installed: - JUVS_HTC_Large_Title_Bar.cab - SRS_WOWHD_ARM.cab - Spb.Mobile.Shell.v1.2.0.cab and noticed some serious decrease in speed on the device and assumed it was spb mobile shell as it is installed on the phone and cannot be installed to sd so i went on remove programs function and removed spb mobile shell. After a minute or two the phone crashed and soon came up with the warning storage memory low about 6 times and crashed completly. After a soft reset it now loads to the t-mobile splash screen and freezes with the red writing in the bottom right corner. Anybody know what i can do other than hard reset as ive got loads of programs installed and it'll take me ages to get it back to its state. any help very appreciated!!!!!!!! cheers |

When you're turning the device off, are you pressing the "Device Unlocked" thing on the today screen to lock the device? no even just leaving the device to turn itself off when waking up its still got the OEM unlock All you need to do is turn off the device to lock it, nothing else. You can even remove the "Device Unlocked" from the today screen. tried that.... |

Im trying to get the talking keypad (link) working on my kaiser but ive got the sounds linked up but when you press the buttons it only plays a little of the sound (e.g instead of "hash" it says "ha" and instead of "asterisk" it says "as") Any ideas how to fix it? |

search the registry for "Ident" think its HKLM\Ident you should have in there 4 or 5 strings UserName = guest OrigName = name of active synch now (Default) = (value not set) Desc = *blank* now if you have a fifth title Name change this one to your desired name delete the partnership with active synch then reconnect if you done have Name create it hope that helps PS this how I do it on My qtek 8310 so should be similar if not the same Chnaged Name to desired name, connected to active sync but activesync just crashes? do i need to change OrigName to whatever it was called before?? |

Just been on the phone to orange for ages trying to get me the M5000 cheaper but they aint having it so ive got the PUC code?? (or whatever it is) I was on the line to retentions and the best offer they had for me was: £30 per month 200 mins AN/AT 500 texts PHONE PRICE: 249.99!!!!! outrageous! So im looking into going with O2 on one of the I-Mode tariffs: £35 per month 500 mins AN/AT 500 texts PHONE PRICE: 149.99 Should i just go for it? As was said before, T Mobile are offering some decent deals but none to match the O2! Plus i like the black design! Cheers for any help |

Hi its come to upgrade time and i need a bit of advice as to which phone i should get??? At the moment i have the SPV C500 but im kinda swinging towards getting a Pocket PC tho due to the built in WIFI, Keyboard & faster processors etc..! Its between Orange M5000 (Stay with orange  ) O2 XDA EXEC(cancel contract) ( I know the above two are the same, i just dont like orange to be honest so i just want to leave but if i can get it for free on upgrade is it worth staying with orange??) 02 mini s (cancel contract) SPV C600 (stay with smartphone?) or should i wait for something else? Size isnt an issue as ive seen the EXEC/M5000 in flesh and i dont think it much of a problem! Main thing is the fact that C600 screen resolution is bigger than C500 so programs are incompatible (or look stupid) plus the WM5 i may aswell go for something with a bit more "OOOOOH FACTOR" What do you think?? cheers |
