When locked, and any key other than the Unlock key was hit, my old Cingular 2125 would light up and show the time in big characters -- so checking the time was as simple as hitting any button on the phone.

Anyone know of any way to accomplish the same or similar for the BJ II?

I'm curious about one attribute in the homescreen XML -- autoheight. It's used frequently, but don't find any documentation for it on this site or anywhere else.

And it's used inconsistently. For example in the great homescreen XML tutorial at http://www.modaco.com/Tutorial-Creating-XM...ns-t233425.html , autoheight isn't used at all. But in the homescreen definitions that come on my Cingular 2125 it is sometimes not used at all, sometimes used with the value "true" and sometimes used with the value "false." Here, for example, are two of the plugins in the default homescreen for the 2125:



I'm curious when to use it all, and what values to use.
