Ok for some reason I am having a real difficult time trying to find a program or mobile website that I can use to check the status of flights while I am traveling. I tried worldmate and they don't have America West listed in their airline list. It's the 21st century and it shouldn't be this hard. Can someone please help me out here with a program that I can use that has all the airlines or at least a mobile website that I can use to check the status of flights so I can see if I will be delayed or not etc.

Does anyone know how to view HTML emails on a Windows Mobile 5.0 phone. I have the Cingular 8125 and got my push email setup through a Mail2Web.com exchange server. I tried FlexMail but the emails aren't showing in HTML due to some reason with activesync. Does anyone know how to get around this or another application that would work?

Ok, I have been looking all over the place on how to add a new style to my 8125. Not just a colour change and background but a whole GUI change like what WA2 and WAD does. But I have just got a headache trying to find the best program out there. I see pocket breeze, WAD, WA2, blinds something. Can someone please tell what is the best program to use to change the GUI. And what is the difference between WAD and WA2? I tried them out and got some skins but I can't get any of them to work. All i get is the toolbar and it never looks as nice as what the picture preview skins look like. Some please help me out, I'm like totally lost with this. All I want is an awesome Vista looking mobile device.

I never did solve the problem. I ended up upgrading to a newer windows and later I got a new phone. But I did notice that it seemed to have happened when I had lots of messages in my inbox so every once in a while I cleared the inbox and the problem went away. It seems that it's the phone doing it, like it freezes while trying to open the message and doesn't finish processing it to view the message. Hope that helps.

I'm looking more for an Alarm clock that I can customize the sound I wake up to. If there is a free alarm clock out there that I can customize the sound and it is able to play wma's or wavs or whatever can someone please tell me. I like waking up to Halo!lol

Also is there a way to some how edit the registry so that the windows alarm can play wma files? I hate the wav files because they are too big in file size. Or is there a free program out there that I can use that will play wma's and has multiple scheduled alarms?

Can someone tell me how to customize the alarm in windows mobile 5.0. I just got Cingular 8125 and I don't know where to put the sound files for the alarm. i have tried windows/ring, mydocs/mysounds, apps/sounds none of those seem to work. any ideas? also is there a program available to add profiles to the pockpc phone, smartphones have them but the ppc phones don't. i want the automatic setting so it can detect when I'm in a meeting etc. and put the phone on silent. anything out there yet?

Has anyone had a problem with getting emails automatically? I setup my email account (pop3) on my SMT5600 and I set it to check for new email every 15 minutes. But it doesn't check at all. The only I can receive email is if I do it manually by clicking send/receive. What's the point in automatic download if it doesn't work??
Also I have heard a lot about the new Windows Mobile 5.0. Is that available for the SMT5600 somewhere, wouldn't mind downloading it or buying it to upgrade my smartphone.

I added my email account to my smt5600 and set it to check every 15 minutes. But it's not doing that. I have to go send/receive email everytime I want to get my email. So what is the point of setting the account to check email every 15min. Am i doing something wrong? It's wierd, I have never been able to get this to work. I just recently did a hard reset to refresh the phone because I was having some problems and i thought that would solve it. But it didn't. Does anyone have any ideas?

Ya seriously this is the most dumbest thing ever! You can dial the last number but not use voice tags. Just when you think you found the dumbest thing ever, there is always something else to top it. :sigh:

Mine aren't SIM updates because the address from where it is sent is from MSN alerts and also some friends of mine. It's kind of random. But I have only gotten the blank on the receiving end never heard about the sending part before.

Is there a way to use the bluetooth headset with the smt5600 when the phone's keys are locked? Because when it is locked I can't use the voice tags with the headset but when it is unlocked I can. Is there a way around this? i don't want to leave it unlocked because then buttons end up getting pressed while in the pocket or pouch. I'm using the Jabra BT800.

Ya the MPx was cancelled awhile ago. They figured there were to many problems with it and it's been so long. The device is too old and out of date. So they are going to do something completely new. I heard as a "rumor" that motorola is working on a razor smartphone that could be maybe seen late this year. (THIS IS JUST A RUMOR I HAVE HEARD) I just hope it is right. That would be so awesome!

Ya I had the same issues with that MPx220. Got it at bestbuy late last year and first off started with volume problems. I tried 4 different phones from bestbuy but all were the same. So I just returned it and got the SMT 5600 which is by far the best smartphone i have ever used!! I was waiting for the MPx to come out but I heard awhile ago they canceled it. It was too old and out of date, because they took to long. So I am now hearing rumors that Motorola is working on a Razor smartphone. (JUST A RUMOR I AM HEARING!!) I do hope it is true, because that would be so sweet!!

Samething happened when I was flying america west to Toronto. I took out the smartphone and I put it into flight mode and the people next to me were looking at me weird and seemed to be concerned (mad).lol And they rang down one of the attendants and told her about me and they said I had to turn it off. (said this in a panic tone.lmao) i told them it's a smartphone and the radio frequency is off so it is acting like a PDA or laptop. But they said "NO YOU HAVE TO TURN IT OFF!" lol they could have at least said please. So I was like ok. And the people next to me were happy, so instead I pulled out my PDA and the people looked at me again thinking that they had stopped me. They called the attendant again, and again she questioned me and I told her this one is just a PDA not a cell phone and I am just reading a book. But they freaking told me i am not allowed to use that either becuase it was the HP PDA with the small antenna on top for wireless. (As if they don't trust me. Like I really want to cause the plane I am on to crash!!!) So I put it away the people were happy again. And just to make this even better, I pulled out my Tablet PC!!! lmfao!!! And I was all like, ya what you gonna do now. They couldn't do anything because it was a computer. Those people tried so hard, I'll give them that, but they lost in the end!! But ya seriously the FIA and FAA and CAA and whoever else really needs to mention exactly what and what can not be used on the plane. The smartphone should be allowed otherwise what the hell is the point of that flight mode, just might as well take it out. Or make it for something useful. And like what about the people with laptops. Most laptops have wireless and bluetooth built in. And I am sure most people don't even take those off or probably don't know how. So like something should be done about all of this classification.

I hear everyone talking about the new Windows Mobile 5.0 and ask if they got it yet. Is there a way to get the new windows mobile 5.0, if so how? I wouldn't mind checking that out and seeing what's new. I have a SMT 5600. Would it work on that?

I have the Audiovox SMT 5600 and every so often i have sms messages that are blank. It's weird. I get a message from someone and the title is there but when i open it, the message doesn't show. like the whole message area is blank with no number shown or scroll bar or subjet title. It happens a lot. I erased all the sms message on the phone thinking that it had something to do with memory but that didn't help. Any ideas?

hey, does anyone experience the problem of loosing the internet when you have left your smt 5600 phone on for like a day or two. it seems that the next day when i try to look up the weather of go to a site on my phone i have no internet, but after i turn it off and turn it on again I get my internet back. It's like it needs to refresh or clear the memory because it gets clogged. lol Any know how to solve the problem because i leave my phone on all the time because it is my alarm clock and it's a bitch having to restart it just to get my internet.

I got a jabra bluetooth headset the 250 headset and I carry my smt 5600 phone in the pouch itcame with. I always lock the keys so it doesn't press buttons in the pouch. But when the phone is locked I cant enable the voice dial through the headset. Is there away around this besides unlocking the keys?

i would switch from blue to orange but the only problem is that there text messaging sms plans are weak. I receive around 1500-2000 messages a month and all from clients to news alerts and friends etc. The highest plan cingular has is like 750 a month and that's including both ways of sending and receiving. I can't beleive they are charging for receiving. They should adapt to att's text sms message plan. But all I can say right now is that I will be staying with att for as long as i can or until cingular gets better text message plans.

Ya, after i returned the MPx220 to best buy 2x, i went to AT&T and got the audiovox. I do think it is a better phone than the mpx220, but i love clam shell phones i am just not getting use to the open face. but if all the problems on the MPx220 were fixed then i would like to get it back. And then maybe hope some more and see if there will be an update to get Windows Media player 10 on it. i'm hearing about all of these new FW updates to the MPx220 and i don't know what the latest is whether it is the .342 or the 1.003 or the 1.3 or 1.7. Its all over. But whatever i get it will be one of the two phones because ever since i got a smartphone I can't go back even though some phones look really cool. The smartphones have virtually unlimited capabilites and works well with all my apps on computers and windows. just a very versatile phone.
