stick them in your storage/application data/home file. this should be done with all homescreens that don't have their own installers. hope this helps.

from what i know from reading other forums, there's a special software that comes with the headphones that is available for the ipaq series pocket pc's only. so, i don't think this is compatible with the c500 or any of its other variations unless hp decides to write a smartphone driver.

drblow,

please find my attachment which i used to remap the xbar action key to be the "0" button. you can remap by changing these two lines in the config_ini file:

//48=ACTION
KEY_XBAR=48; // =121 for Key 'Record'

that is currently set at "0" being the action button (the value 48). in order to get other number values which represent the buttons on the phone, activate xbar and then press "9" for help. hope that helps.

ironman,

if you haven't figured it out yet, here's what you do in order to open the ia caller id program after installing another photo id program. get a file explorer program like smart explorer and open up the windows directory. search for a file called IA_Photo_Contacts.exe and press on that. that should open up the native photo id program. then hit menu, select general options and then unmark the box that says display photo during call. that should help you and you should be able to use photo contacts after a reboot.

I just installed Midnight's modified profiles and I'm not sure if thats the problem but whenever I change my profile it goes back to the normal selection. Any help would be appreciated. Also if someone could upload the original profiles here I would appreciate it. I am using an MPX 200.

i have to agree with xavierjohn. i just tried smartmovie and it is still pretty choppy. with betaplayer, i get really smooth playback. betaplayer is still the better player in my book...plus its free.

dear lord...we should gather all the people who come up with these scams and the people who fall for it and place them on a deserted island and then nuke the island and be done with it. and while we're at it, let's throw in the people who make computer viruses and the ones sending out all the spam email. good riddance.dear lord...we should gather all the people who come up with these scams and the people who fall for it and place them on a deserted island and then nuke the island and be done with it. and while we're at it, let's throw in the people who make computer viruses and the ones sending out all the spam email. good riddance.

hey guys,

thanks for your suggestions. i didn't try awarner's suggestion as i had already done a hard reset by the time i saw his reply. but i will definately keep the advice on mind...i was not aware that this was a bug with the 2002 os. i have finished installing all my old programs and no bug yet...so i am very happy, although the process was a time consuming one. thanks to all who helped!

hey,

thank you for looking into my problem. since it has been tested on these other phone formats and seems to work fine, it must be an user error on my part. i apologize if my above error report caused any negative impact on your fine skin. please continue the good work and i look forward to another one of your skins.

discostu and zeta,

first off, thank you very much for taking the time to post a reply. i checked the install file you mentioned discostu and there are no files in that folder. however, i can no longer install progs onto my phone and activesync is acting funny (i can no longer connect). i dread the hard reset, but i'm beginning to think its an eventuality. my computer crashed a couple of weeks ago, so i lost all my emails with registration codes. i have begun to recover those codes through the vendors, but some have not responded. do any of you know where registration codes are kept on the phone? is there a speciall folder? thanks.

hi,

i have a mpx200 running smartphone os 2002 and have encountered a problem. i don't want to do a hard reset and start from scratch, so i'm hoping someone here has a solution for me. my "remove programs" screen is totally empty! nothing is showing up there. in addition to this, when i put cabs on the phone to execute them, they always fail to install. i have reset the phone and taken out the battery and sim for a time, but these things didn't work. does anyone have any idea what is going on????

hi,

i just installed your homescreen on my phone (mpx200 running smartphone os 2002) and now my screen under the "remove programs" option under settings is blank. this happened after installing the homescreen and then rebooting. i tried changing over to another homescreen and then rebooting, but my "remove programs" screen is still blank. i think the homescreen looks good, but i'm wondering if this is a bug in it. thanks!

i just emailed vaja (my case has been on order for about 1 1/2 weeks) and they told me that the cases are in the last stages of manufacturing so i'd say about a week more wait at the most until they start shipping.

space monkey,

i am a registered use for this program, but i lost my email with the unlock code. could you please send it to me at jbp7@po.cwru.edu again? thanks.
also, i am experiencing the same problems as the above two users on an t-mobile mpx200 where selecting an item on the menu actually selects the item above it. thanks.
