Search google for a program called sip change, its on xda developers site this will allow you to set your sip and it will not change back.

PocketCM is awesome! I have quite a few contacts in my phone and it actually makes me able to call someone quickly without flicking the keyboard open and faffing about smile.gif Coming from instant dial phones such as the Treo and Nokia E61, this really makes a difference.

The threaded SMS mode is neat too. I do get the on-screen keyboard popping up though when in Landscape mode, and this overlaps things and generally ruins the experience. Any way of turning this off?

When your in the messaging part of PocketCM tap on the persons name and it will give you the options to choose your sip, then you can choose none and use your slide out keyboard...

Yes.
It is not as easy as you had it but it is still easy.

Press green phone button -> Menu -> Call History.

Perhaps there is a registry edit that will bring that function back? I looked at the Settings -> Buttons but that only seems to allow you to allocate buttons to programs.
Some one more expert than I may wish to chime in here with possible hacks.

[Later] It is even easier.

Green button and the third icon from the top on the right. The one that looks like a PDA with an arrow wrapped around it.

You can also hit the green phone button then just hit the right D pad and it will take you to your call history.

Is that when the phone is off? I think if the phone is powered off and then charged it will work okay, just that when it is on and charging it doesn't.

Regards

Phil

Yes this is when the phone is off, I put it on the charger today with the phone on and there was no solid light as you have said. Keep up the nice work on this program.

Hi

There is a problem flashing amber on the left hand LED, currently it is Green rather than Amber.

The code that flashes the LEDs sends a RED on and a GREEN on command for Amber, this worked with other HTC models but on the Kaiser each command supersedes the other, so as the Green command is received by the LED it turns Red off, hence you only get Green.

I've had a go sending random commands to see if I can get Amber but have as yet not found a way to get Amber, but will not give up easily!

Regards

Phil

Thanks Phil,

Its still is a neat little program, one other thing I did noticed is I still get a solid amber light during charging and then when its fully charged it turns solid green. Just wanted to let you know because according to the the instructions it said that this would no longer work.

Take a look at this topic

Do you know if this will work an AT&T's network to block the data connections?

My guess is that you're not looking in the right spot, that's what I did for a while. Look in the "start menu", when you first hit it, don't actually select programs.

Yes that was it, I was looking for it in the programs group and it is actually in the start menu, now the only issue I see is I can not get the amber led on any type of alert I select.

Phil,

Nice program, a couple of problems on my end though. First after I install I get no icon for it on my programs tab. Also when I enable bluetooth it changes my red flashing led to green instead of amber, I have all setting at the default. I have an unlocked HTC Tytn II.
