Try this:
Using file explorer (or equivalent) just simply choose the program you want an icon for (in Winterface) then “copy” it. Then goto the “windows/start menu/programs” directory and “paste shortcut”. (I miss-typed in the previous message saying “settings”. No “settings” directory.. put them in the “programs” directory). Then after that, what I do is rename (tap-hold-rename) the shortcut to whatever name I like.
Note: there is no need to keep the .lnk extension. WM knows all.
Then just fire up Winterface and touch “menu” then touch “applications” and VIOLA.. there they are!

Nowadays almost everybody has a mobile phone, so it can be tough sometimes to recognize your phone ringing in public place. I use our company's VITO RingtoneEditor on my HTC Touch (it also works on non-touch devices) and really enjoy creating as many ringtones as I wish.

Start it, choose a song that you want to use for creating your ringtone.

After you press Select the song starts playing with a short delay. Next thing is to choose the starting point for the ringtone. Tap the button to mark the beginning of your ringtone. Do not worry if you didn't catch the exact point, you can always rewind with joystick.

Now that you have the starting point continue to listen or fast forward to the place where your want to finish the ringtone.

Then you will see the menu where you can immediately assign the ringtone to ringer, edit ringtone or save it.

New features in SMS-Chat

May 8th, 2008 – VITO Technology releases a new version of one of its best-sellers – SMS-Chat. SMS-Chat is a Windows Mobile SMS messenger that organizes your SMS correspondence into threaded SMS conversations. There has appeared the ability to create templates that you can use for quick answers, the ability to switch off popping up alerts. If you've received some telephone number in SMS you can click it to place a call or if there is a hyperlink click it to open it in a browser. You will be pleasantly surprised by the ability to change skins in new SMS-Chat.
The new version of SMS-Chat presents a lot of improvements that make big sense for SMS chatting. The most distinctive option is the ability to switch off the onscreen alerts. EyePhoto for watching your photos
Redesigned and improved

April 30th, 2008 - VITO Technology releases a new version of EyePhoto designed specially for viewing photos on Pocket PC Windows Mobile. Apart from sliding your photos with finger you can use joystick or switch on a slideshow and relax watching your photos. The slight changes in design make the program even more stylish and user-friendly. There have appeared additional features like deleting a picture, sending it (and resizing at the same time) via MMS or e-mail, and look up the properties of the picture.

With the updated version of EyePhoto you can not only slide your finger but also use your joystick to flip through photos or even turn on the slideshow. The program also automatically identifies the mode (landscape or portrait) for displaying pictures. So they are shown according to the camera mode that you used when shooting pictures.

While watching photos it has become possible to delete a photo or send it via MMS or e-mail. If you need to know the properties of the picture you can see it when tapping menu button and choosing properties.

The program was redesigned: now the prevailing color of the program has become black. The photo tiles in the preview window have become bigger. Tapping the photo only once will bring forward the menu bars at the top and at the bottom of the screen. To zoom in a photo you can not only double tap the photo but also tap the zoom in button at the bottom left of the screen.

New application for viewing photos

March 31st, 2008 - VITO Technology releases new application EyePhoto designed specially for viewing photos on Pocket PC Windows Mobile. Slide your photos with finger and enjoy watching them. User-friendly interface oriented on gestures is one of the main features. The program shows only the folders that include jpeg pictures. It is likely to become a photo album that allows you to watch all your photos at once.

EyePhoto organises all your photos into photo albums. Having started the program you face all folders containing jpeg pictures in the main memory and on a storage card. Upon opening a folder you are presented with photo tiles displayed in one finger-scrollable window. Everything is done for your convenience. ZoomBoard became smarter!
Zoom in smart onscreen keyboard

March 18th, 2008 - VITO Technology releases new ZoomBoard version 2.0, an onscreen keyboard with zoomed preview for comfortable and accurate FINGER typing. Now ZoomBoard has 2 new zoom modes in addition to the previous lens appearing above the keyboard. The considerable number of layouts will really be a pleasant surprise for ZoomBoard users all over the world. New ZoomBoard also features a very convenient SmatZoom option and gestures support.

New ZoomBoard allows for quick and accurate typing and can satisfy the demands of any choosy user with 3 different types of zooming: full zoom, lens zoom, float zoom. Lens zoom appears above the keyboard, Float zoom appears straight above the letter you press and the full one zooms in the whole keyboard with letters. Try all of them and decide which one you like most and which one suits you the most.

Another new useful feature is SmartZoom. When enabling this option it is possible to zoom the pressed letters either immediately or with a delay. If you need a zoom window to emerge right away then you need at first stroke wait for the zoom to appear. After that the zoom will come forward as quickly as you touch the screen. When you do not touch the screen with keyboard for at least three seconds the zoom is going to appear with the delay again.

Moreover, the supported gestures can become a favorite feature in ZoomBoard: move rightwards across the keybord to press space, leftwards - backspace, upwards - shift, downwards - enter. Combinations of keys with ctrl and shift are also clickable, just enjoy comfortable typing on ZoomBoard!

Another important upgrade to ZoomBoard is the significant increase of layouts. Alongside with the layouts that were available in the previous version (English, Russian, German and some others) there have appeared 32 layouts for other languages. Therefore VITO Technology would be really thankful if the people who speak other languges could check and give there comments on the layouts.

In addition, the landscape mode has become more user-friendly it does not close all screen. Now it stretches across the screen. Typing with ZoomBoard is as simple as sliding the screen!

To reset all you SMS you should go to the folder where deafault messages are. Enter the SMS-Chat folder and copy folder to the default folder.
By the way version 1.01 of SMS-Chat moves SMS backwards to the default folder when uninstalling.
