Good post. I just got put on to WM6 RDP a week ago. I really enjoy it so far. I have managed to get this to work between my ppc and laptop while I'm at home. My question is this: Is it possible to access my laptop remotely using my ppc from a totally separte place? My goal, simply is to use my ppc at 'work' to access my laptop at 'home' via the internet. I have not been succesful with figuring this out. I'm confused with the firewall, router, port, static IP .... stuff! Reading other posts in other forums...I'm getting some understanding but no success as of yet. If any one here can help me with this. Or let me know if it is at all possible. |
