is there any other way to do this other than outlook? I always used to use Orange Backup when changing between handsets, E200 > C500 for instance, but now that it's gone, are there any other alternatives? Also, are there any programs for backing up SMS messages? |

nice little app, works well, quite slow to get to the section to set it all once you've used the speed dial, but not a major problem. Thanks |

Hi all well i took the plunge and ordered a C500 as an upgrade from Orange to replace my E200. Couple of questions: whats the best way to tranfer all my contacts, pics, SMS's etc to the new phone? can i back them all up using the orange online back up through my current cradle and then plug my new phone in and "restore" from there? does the new phone come with a cradle, or just a usb cable? thanks |

hi guys, im seriously considering getting the C500 now, updating from an E200. Got a couple of quesitons if you dont mind: - someone mentioned in another thread that you can get an "offer" Bluetooth headset for £10 from orange when you buy a C500? Is this only in the shops as i cant see that online anywhere? - What size Mini SD card does it come with? how much are extra ones roughly? - I've heard mixed reports on menu and general phone speed. anyone whos used both the E200 and C500, what would your comments be? - Is there a Rom update already worth doing when i get the phone? - Is the T9 bug fixed since the E200? ie does it remember your manually entered words preoperly, even when you reboot? Thanks for the help |

Hi all, was hoping someone might be able to answer a few basic questions about the C500 I've currently got an E200. I might want to upgrade bu i wondered about a few things: - how does the speed of the phone compare with the E200? The E200 can be quite slow browsing through menus etc - is there a sound hissing problem like there was on the original E200 ROM, or is that all ok on the C500. - Does it use the same sized SD ram cards as the E200? - anything majorly wrong with the new model? - whats new which is a noticable improvement on the E200? Thanks for the help guys |

you can only set it as none, 5, 10 or 20 seconds
if you set it on none tho, that means the msg never goes away after u change the volume until u press "done" so i have mine set on 5 seconds which is what it was b4, and it times out after 5 and disappears then |

stupid orange for having a power cut and a fire!!
come on, thats hardly in their control is it?!?! think it was a good point above, that some ppl are more happy with crap battery and buzzing , and some are more happy with a working SD card, seems we cant have both just yet, so up to every user to choose which they prefer |
