Is battery life really that much better? Can someone go about their daily routine and tell how much of a difference the battery life is? |

Does anyone know of any programs that will add a password for calling people on my phone? I have called several people and left long messages of static and background noises from my pocket. I think most the time I throw my phone in my pocket and before it gets auto key lock it will start dialing or going through recent calls and then I will end up calling them. Any suggestions? I have tried different key locks but I don't really like them, a password to call would work better. Thanks, Steven |

RC09 is out and both RC07 and 09 have some bugs. With RC07 it seems every time you make a call the app goes away but can't be started up again until you reboot. Now since I installed RC09 it doesn't go away after calls but I have had 3-4 phone lockups in the last two days, it might be my phone since it has been acting weird lately but I think it most likely was RC09. |

That isn't the same as a "Sent Message" popup. I don't see any options to turn that off but it is annoying. |

You're getting 24 hours of battery life out of it? Or am I just misunderstanding..? I think he means he just got the phone and has had it for 24 hours. But I have kept my Shadow on for 24 hours without charge, but it was getting low battery messages. (May have been a little bit less than 24 hours but very close, not 100% sure) - Steven |

All of a sudden XT9 disapeared and ABC mode is there in stead for all apps installed on my phone but not regular txt messages. I scroll through modes and XT9 is not there. The only thing I did since I last used XT9 was power off the phone and I haven't sync'ed it or anything. I did install the trial of Opera Mobile Yesterday morning but since then I have had no problems and had powered off the phone serveral times. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steven |

From my experience any changes in the phone's registry that the phone doesn't exactly like (for example a changed setting that the phone won't accept) forces the phone to never turn off the screen. I have seen this happen several times and maybe some installations have a bad registry entry or something. Fixing the registry changes have always solved the problem for me. |

That seems to make my screen never turn off. Maybe more than one thing needs to be changed for it to work? |

[attachment=23021:Blue_Neo...me_Theme.CAB] I have been trying to figure out CABs for a while and found a few programs today. I made this CAB with a Pocket PC CAB creator so it throws a warning during install but it still works fine. Theme created by hamsuplo , .CAB by me. This theme is not yet completed but I figured I would post it since it covers the home screen and looks great! I will be adding in the iCandy Icons and the other menu/start colors. All you have to do is install the CAB and then select "Blue" under Start >> Settings >> Home Screen >> Color Scheme. Preview: (Icons coming soon) (Previews updated and added below.) Enjoy! - Steven P EDIT: New version has been uploaded with icon chamges, new backgrounds and also Stary menu color changes!! |

I just double checked the zip and it looks like all the basic files are there. Only thing I can think of that could still be brown is the textglow image, which I have attached on this post. It's basically a complete transparent image as I thought the text glow didn't look good even on the original theme. Please note that the files I posted are just for the home screen. I haven't done much anywhere else (ie, start menu background, in-call background, etc.) If I do, I'll definitely post them. If there are other traces of brown that I am not aware of, let me know or post a screenshot. I have been messing around with .CABs, would you mind if I put your theme into a CAB? I did it for myself, Icons and all, but its not quite finished. All credit goes to you for the theme of course. |

I found a nice CAB creator though it is only a free trial but I am thinking about buying it. http://www.ocpsoftware.com/products.php?nm=cecabmgr Edit: Just realized its $99, I think I will use my last 18 trys (it gives you 20 total) VERY wisely. |

I have tried everything I can think of and I still can't figure out how to overwrite the homescreen PNGs in the /Windows/ folder. I saw that many others are having the same issue. Turning off Read Only does nothing but revert right back to Read Only and you can't rename or move the PNGs. I have tried changing the Home Screen display then restarting the phone so it did not use any of the files I would be replacing and I still had no luck. My phone is App unlocked also. If anyone can give any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, Steven P |
