I'd love to see a super slim smartphone with the specs of S730 without the sliding qwerty keyboard |

Sorry if I sound stupid but will this give the HTC S620 the same xt9 features as the T-Mobile Dash? You have to flash your S620 with T-mobile Dash's WM6 ROM in order this to work. However, since your native language is English, your daily communication is in English and WM6 ROM has only English pre-installed, I don't know if you really need to load the other languages... |

Based on Paul's Vox eT9 Language Pack, I prepared an eT9 Language Pack, suited for HTC Excalibur (HTC S620, T-Mobile Dash, SPV E600) with any WM6 ROM that bears eT9 (xT9). It is based on my HTC S620 with T-Mobile's WM6 ROM, however it should be working with any future WM6 ROM. It contains the following languages:
For those who want to use Greek Language with 160 characters on SMSs, they should also install the SMS160 utility by Ace Hellas. However, there are some issues with"Tab" and "Sym" keys that need to be solved and your help will be appreciated. I don't know if several keyboard mappings exist around for this device; mine is the one with £,$,€ symbols on J,K,L letters respectively. If you have a different keyboard, let me know. Thanks, Costas (kalantz) Greece. |

I sent it back to Expansys within 7 days with the following comments: - TipTalk Voip client doesn't work, even with standard / famous SIP servers (Voipbuster, etc) - 1200 mAh battery goes down within 15 hours (normal use). Furthermore, if Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G are on it goes down even with the charger attached. - Camera client seems to forget user's settings. Even if they located the faults, their respond, based on Toshiba's policy, was that since this a common behaviour for all G500s, the device cannot be considered "faulty". |

Received it yesterday... Soft Version: 03.04AAI Radio Version: 03.02AAQ Rom Versions: 5.1.422.15633 Pros Build Quality (Nice sliding mechanism) Camera (Better than any other smartphone I've ever used) Cons Weight and Volume OS Stability Camera settings (still forgets it's settings like the preproduction unit) Battery (Although 1200 mAh it goes down quickly. Furthermore, if BT, WiFi and 3G are on it goes down even with the charger attached!!!!) WiFi range Earphone (not loud enough) Speakerphone (bad quality and not loud enough) TipTalk Voip client (Are they kidding? Possibly a "wanna-be" Voip client? Trash) Speed (slower than HTC WM5 smartphones with TI Omap @ 195MHz) Screen (mediocre) Fingerprint (nice gadget to play once or twice, but useless for everyday use. It could have a much lower price without it) Lack of Voice Command Toshiba Online Help and Support Price (too high for so many cons) Neutral Extra software and utilities (Nice utilities but almost useless) I still haven't decided if I'll keep it. If it was guaranteed that there will be a WM6 upgrade with real Voip (and Greek XT9), I would. Waiting for your comments Thanks, Costas Greece |

Hi, Does it support the Greek Language in menus and Greek T9? If yes, can you please check whether it supports 70 or 160 characters in Greek messages? Thanks Costas Greece |

I've been watching the SP3's page at Expansys since last week and I've noticed that the price is increased almost on a daily basis. The first time I visited the page, the price was near 240 GBP (inc. VAT)
Thanks, kalantz |

Great job @anonymous... however what about MMS? The MMS software that is included in the original CD doesn't work with this ROM. Any advice?

Very nice app!!!
However you should make some changes regarding how the e-mail arrives to the recepient. The user of this app should be able to enter his name, e-mail address or phone number in order to be clear to the recepient that this is not a spam mail. Thanks kalantz |
