So 2 days later...what proof have you got? Actually, what proof have you EVER given for anything? As far as I can tell, you haven't provided anything that wasn't already known to us.
Do you even own a Shadow?

Hey guys, I recently bought a shadow and i really like the phone a lot. There is something that is bothering me though, in settings under the slide and key lock option, when i try to get into it it just says ERROR the settings could not be opened. Anybody know why? It's really annoying me. Also I have had the alarm problem where it goes off every morning at 6am even when the alarm isnt set, or its set for a different time. Thanks guy!

ok many of you are saying "oh yeah we knew he was a lier about the myFaves unlock blah blah blah"
well the only reason why the tutorial isnt released (but its finished) is because it caused WAY to many problems to the phone!

after i did the full unlock, i unlocked the second UI (when you select a contact and you have the option to call, send picture, IM, email, etc) and then my phone just went to hell after it.

here is my current list of problems:

1)Screen - The screen goes to a higher brightness when slid up barely and when closed fast. This makes everything hard to see and read.
2)Buttons - My Home, Right-Softkey, and Call button no longer work. The buttons arent stuck, they just simply dont work anymore (they do work when i disable all the myfaves menus and remove the UI)
3)Jog Wheel - Is now even slower with a huge delay (again, i can fix it by removing the myfaves UI)

so yeah my phone is basically broken when everything is enabled. if pictures or a videos are required i will be more then happy to show you.

I know the problem and it wasnt suposed to be there.It was suposed to be on the tmobile homescreen.

My math may be wrong, but isn't today (3/3/08) after 2/29/08? It appears that we're missing both videos, and still no cab file...or any proof at all that myFaves has been fully unlocked.

Looks like vaporware to me. Midian, you're not helping your rep by any of your postings. If you would like to help your own cause, post some concrete evidence of your hack...and forget the videos. Provide a full tutorial and you'll have everyone's attention.

Does anyone have the program? Perhaps we could share the file and save some money???

how would you know if your phone is app unlocked or not?

it isnt brocked. your right its only the bottloader mode.
if you cant flash the ROM on that menu, enter recovery mode (left+right softkeys + power on) and press the call button the the select button (this will erase everything but your phone will work after it)

NOTE: by the left+right softkeys im talking about the softkeys above the Home and Back buttons.

Just for the record... I think this depends on where you'r at in the country. I'm in Seattle and I just renewed my contract a few weeks ago. All the pamphlets I got from T-mobile recently had MTM bundled in with the Fave5 plans.... I had to specifically request to be put on the family plan that had Fave5, but NOT MTM (because it was $10 a month cheaper)... by default, they only wanted to give me MTM with Fave5.

I just got done updating my Shadow and reinstalled Inbox Extender and it works for me.

Is there a brickbreaker, like on Blackberries, for the Dash?

it doesnt enable free calling and he never said it did. Besides why would you want to steal from t-moobile when it just costs $10 a month more thats sad.
