No sound from speaker

There is no sound that is coming from my speaker. I tried to play music and use the speakerphone but there is no sound that i cant hear. Could this be a speaker problem? How could i fix this?

When I'm talking to somebody, I can hear the other person but the other person cannot hear me. I tried to use a headset and it works fine. Could this be a microphone problem? How could i fix this?
