Thanks Paul, so if I turn autosync off and just keep logging points I shouldn't lose them?
We work hard to keep you in the top positions lol..

I think the Navizon systems are just running unbelievably slow, and the authentication is timing out sad.gif

To see what I mean, go to the Navizon site and try and view your rewards status.

Same here I've had quite a few points get lost it says it's synched and hasn't showed up in my total yet.
Glad it's just not me.. So they will actually catch up at some point?

I have, and i've had no ill effects yet. And yes, it DOES seem a lot quicker than 2.0!

P

I did like you said and can really see the difference.. Thanks Paul

Also thank you for making Navizon work as it was intended, works much better with your C3 than a standalone.
Love C3 wish we had the notifications of the stop cameras for in the states.
Lol I always run it when it's pink.. You've heard we have cameras at stop lights, and on most major highways to monitor traffic conditions.

Some thoughts..
1. You should make a feature where you can log what the odometer says say with a click (location and speed would then be recorded).
Handy for when we in the states get a speeding ticket and we weren't speeding. whether you could use it in traffic court would be another story.
2. I noticed that it even clocked how fast I was walking. You could incorporate this into another handy program not for cameras but for sports enthusiasts hikers, bikers etc how fast, how long etc track your route. As my job requires alot of walking outside, this would be a winner throw in the Navizon and we rack up points along the way.

Keep up the great work! biggrin.gif

Ok so I bought a real phone Kaiser now.. Bj II was ok but needed more. Lol Navizon works flawless racking up APs and cells.
Have 300 APs and it crashes says it needs to quit. Is anyone else with a Kaiser experiencing this? It's done it multiple times when trying to close the window or even the app. Anyone have an idea?

i had another directories listed in my wmp11 thread, it's what worked on my smartphone. i assume you already tried it?
\Storage Card\Storage\Microsoft\Media Player\Skins\

Yep tried that one too.. for all that the BJ II has going for it the trouble it takes to do the simplest things.. sigh.

Smart tool kit makes my BJ II just a bit more friendly and it's free.
When I installed it to storage card it didn't show up but installing it to device worked great.

Downloaded Jeyo Personalizer and the Themes change screen just runs and runs apparently trying to download all the themes' thumbnails without ever loading. Does anyone have this same problem and know the fix?

Thanks.

Same here and it really didn't reorder anything but the first 7 items in your start list. Much easier just doing it in the registry.

I found this over at geekzone, tried it worked ok for alittle bit. Seems to be the answer to our problems..
It needs to come with more landscape skins there is only one in the package.
But if anyone else tries it and gets it to work let me know.

Well, being impatient and having LOTS to do next week... I decided to break down and get Voice Command. I've known it to be a good product in the past, and I had faith that with the right version I should be ok.

Well, it's just awesome! biggrin.gif

I'm able to voice dial nearly every call first try. There is no delay like with the other apps waiting for them to load. And I can control most applications on my phone, including Media Player! I created a shortcut to the app with Fn-P. That's one of the easiest combinations to hit while being forced to HOLD the Fn key, and it couldn't work much better. Though obviously I can just use the shortcut at the top of the today screen, or find the program under the Start button if I really feel like it.

Overall, I'd say this is a MUST get. And with 20% off coupons online for Handango, I was able to get the "extra year" of redownloading the app for under $40. Totally worth it IMHO.

Now go get Voice Commander 1.6 for SMARTPHONES and really get control of your phone!!! smile.gif

How'd you get it to work when I tried installing it said it wasn't compatible with my device. Even Handango said it wasn't compatible.

A quick question since all has failed.
Are there anyother BJII owners successfully running this.
I realize I'm new to all of this but I have successfully edited reg
and many other things but this just doesn't want to work no matter what I've tried.

anyone no where I can get one of these so that I can use my ipod headphones for the phone. Ebay has them for $16.50 shipped. Kind of steep to me.

Also question about xm on blackjack II. when I got the phone it said that I had a 3 day trial. Well the 3 day trial is over and I'm still getting xm. How long will this last?

BTW, thanks to everyone for all the info on this site. All very informative.

With ATT the 3 day trial usually after they auto bill it to your cell bill. Thanks for reminding me I need to check my mobitv make sure it got cancelled.

Have you had GPS working before? If you had Live and Google working on GPS before installing Navizon maybe you should uninstall Navizon, restart your phone and see if GPS is working again. If it is your GPS is fine, so you could re-install Navizon and see what happens?

GPS worked straight out of the box installed google at the ATT store, same for live search. I've uninstalled all of it hoping if I installed one at a time it would come back.
Didn't work. Was wondering if I should do a reset. Really want to Navizon lots of places where I'm at lots of points to find lol.
GPS settings are as follows and it used to work.
Program Port:
None
Hardware Port:
None
Hardware Port Baud Rate:
115200

Manage Automatically checked
in Google I had let Windows control it.. in live I had auto as well.

EDIT: Soft reset and reinstalled google GPS now working. yay! Now on to the Navizon..

Zippy..
Thanks for the advice. Have tried most in doing so trashed live and google lol. Went and read the help files at Navizon word for word step by step.

One setting I actually got a location then for some reason the next time I opened it couldn't get it.
Time for a trip to ATT and tell them the GPS is non functional..

Will let you know how it goes..

I installed this morning and joined via Paul's link, joined the modaco group.

It picks up my phone with the green light. But for some reason it refuses to see my GPS.
I have a i617 I've had no problem with Google maps or live search they automatically find my gps.

This wants me to tell it where it is? I'm lost on this one.
Can anyone help me with the set up?

So then \Storage Card\Application Data\Sounds should also work too. Not definitely though...

Couldn't get it to work that way but doing it by dumping on the storage card worked. Any ideas on how to point it to a specific folder on the storage card?

Not exactly sure on all the places you can put it, but it seems to at least scan My Documents and Storage Card, so put it in the root directory of your My Docs or Storage Card folders, then press start - organizer - alarms and select the song under tones and it's set.

I had picked this up in a forum it works for me for any system sound or ringtone.

\Application Data\Sounds

granted this is directly on your device so it's best to use a small mp3 make sure you've changed the registry so it will allow long ringtones..

If anyone has a way that you can do it otherwise let me know..

Modifying files in the /windows/start menu folder will allow you to add or remove start menu items, but not rearrange. To rearrange items, you will need to modify some values in the registry. If you'll note, most applications that are preinstalled are sorted in a specific order, then below that, anything you installed is sorted alphabetically. This is because the location of those preinstalls applications are defined in the registry. They can be modified, but I don't recall the location of these. I'll post it if I come across it or if you really want it....

MobileRegistryEditor and follow the directions from this thread works like a charm.
http://www.modaco.com/content/Samsung-i617...nu/#entry866877

I added a folder called junk so I could dump all the ATT stuff I don't use in the start menu folder and moved all the shortcuts there.
Placed a link in the registry at the very end. Just in case I ever need it.

Wish they could have that simple little hide icon that blackberry does.

I used MobileRegistryEditor it lets you edit on your pc then it synched it.. so much easier.

When I bought mine 3 days ago, by default you don't have a sound on the scrollwheel you actually have to turn it on.
It will pop everytime you go to a new area by scrolling. If this is not the case, would someone please let me know. So I can return it.

I don't know if this will help anyone but I found it useful.
I have programs installed on my memory card that I wanted to use but had no icon for them. Same issue as those above.
Instead of copying the program there, create a shortcut and place it in the folder you want it to show up on.
In this case it was the applications folder.
Thanks thelostsoul for your tip wouldn't have thought of it.
Wonder if it will let me add folders and rearrange things.
