Obviously you wouldn't get as much selling it without the accessories, but after paying someone for the box and bits, then would there be and difference??

Note to anyone selling their box: I'd advise you remove the white sticker on the side of box with the handset's details on it. From memory, it has the IMEI of the handset on there, and you don't quite know where it will end up once it's been sold.

Well it happened finally

My pristine TyTN II which I take great of

I was swapping the cars round and as I jumped into one felt the case tug on my belt.

Anyway, moved the car and walked ack onto the drive to see phone in case on drive, oviously having fallen out of the car. then I noticed it was dusty - I must have reversed over it :-O

Amazingly it's in one piece and still looks pristine ut the screen is smashed and the b key isn't working too well.

Fortunately I have orange care, ut will they pay out? have heard worrying stories. it was in the case that comes with it, if the damn thing had a proper belt loop it would have been ok..

also if they do say yes, wil it e a replacement or repair? can do without losing it for weeks

Ok I got mine on Friday and I can't get it to go into 'Wireless Stereo' mode, only 'Hands-Free'.

I'm a complete newbie to Bluetooth Headsets so I need a bit of help! I have paired it with my iPaq 614c and I do get audio (but as it's in Hands free mode, only mono and low quality). Any ideas??

I took receipt this morning of this item (Ebay listing item - 300101756105), purchased from an ebay seller in Hong Kong:



I'm connecting it to the mini-USB port on my TyTN II using a mini-USB to 3.5mm headphone adapter jack (which works without any interference if I use this with headphones); it works - and for £5.98, I can't really complain - but there is an annoying background whine when I use this with my car radio.

I've tried moving the device and phone away from the radio or indeed anything that might cause interference - but even sat in the boot, I get an annoying background noise.

I wasn't expecting much for less than a tenner - but since this doesn't quite have the quality I was looking for, can anybody recommend a good alternative that allows the phones audio to be sent via FM to my car radio but doesn't have any hums, whines or crackles to get in the way of my music?

not sure this is the right place for this, but wondered if you fine fellows could help... basically a mate of mine wants to sell his Kaiser, but it's really quite scratched.

It has superficial damage to the case, and a small crack on the camera lense. My question is two fold:

1) is there any way of replacing the case? (the screen is fine, as it's had a screen protector fitted from day 1)

2) if not, any ideas what sort of price I should pitch it at on Ebay / whatever? I mean, what do you condider a fair price. It's working perfectly.. just not terribly pretty

hi, i would like to have the main HTC screen for this device, that one showing weather...bla bla bla...

plus.

i just need some help with my new HTC TyTN II which may similar in problems to the version mentioned from you (it was originally a chinese version from ORANGE,changed into the english one with wondows Mobile 6 Pro), problem as follow :
- do not have MSN (and i need it )
- cannot see on the program menu all the links to OFFICE MOBILE, even though i can open downloaded files cos it exhist in WINDOW folder
- do not see many programs on the main PROGRAMS menu such as , SPRITE BACKUP (ho il disco in cinese, ma ad ogni modo non leggo i caratteri), GPS SOFTWARE (like TOM TOM), WINDOWS LIVE
- canot see on the connections menu, KEYBOARD SLIDING SOUND (but it exist in WINDOW folder)
-in the SYSTEM menu cannot see, KEY LOCK,MICROPHONE AGC,POWER (but all exist in WINDOW folder)
-in CONNECTIONS menu cannot see, GPRS Setting, HDSPA, CONNECTION SETUP,WIRELESS LAN (last one i have in WINDOWS folder)

Another big problem is, i cannot connect to WIFI, i mean once i got the connection, and it show certian network is connected in CONFIGURE WIRELESS NETWORK page, but once i try to use EXPLORER or SKYPE (that tilts my device ) it show "The address is not valid. Check the address and try again", and it happens for any kind of website, and i'm connected in the same time with my LAPTOP by using WIFI (using in this moment to write).

Is it a lot of things ? ...
Do i suck at this things ?

Yes.
You can use wifimrouter if you can find it (it seems to have disappeared) or you can do some reg tweaks so that the ICS (internet connection sharing) shares the wifi instead of the 3g data connection. Do a google for ICS wifi registry tweaks.
(It is a lot easier to buy a £15 wifi USB adapter for your desktop though.)

Does your wireless network connect directly to the internet, or do you only have a connection via the PC?
If your wireless router connects then you don't need the PC - just connect to the WiFi and surf away!

If you're asking "can I use WiFi whilst connected via USB?" then I think the answer is yes - there's a setting in ActiveSync which allows connections whilst "tethered" (but I'm not sure if that just relates to GSM connections)

That sounds pretty well screwed. I'd back up an docs, hard reset and restore the backup you've already attempted to restore.

Just to add my vote I've been very impressed with Sprite backup. Have had to restore from backups a couple of time and its been a breeze.
